21 Bridges
Autilitarian piece of art might be the best way to describe the Harbor Bridge. Thousands of people cross it each day. But it also is a key element for artistic and romantic impressions of the city. Its allure is such that people are known to drive over it and back just for the view.
Pat Mondy, whose skyline drawing hangs in the Art Center, said the bridge is a key part of the memories people have formed about the city.
"I just think the bridge is vital to our psyche," she said.
