of Nueces County.

Blue Ribbon Auction Sale benefits show participants
Arrive early and enjoy entertainment provided by exhibitors before the
auction sale which begins with the Parade of Champions at 10 a.m.

EVENTS - AT A GLANCE:
JUNIOR LIVESTOCK: The Nueces County Junior Livestock Show & Sale will feature
a bullriding at 6:30 p.m. today at the Showbarn Arena, Nueces County Memorial
Agricultural Center, Highway 77 and Avenue J, Robstown.
Tickets: $10 adults; $5 children 12 and younger.
An alumni dance will follow at 8 p.m.
Tickets: $10 per person.
A team roping is scheduled for 8 a.m. Saturday at the Showbarn Arena.
Tickets: $2 adults; $1 children 12 and younger.
A parade will follow at 11 a.m. in downtown Robstown. The parade route will lead
down Main Avenue to Upshaw Street and then to the Showbarn. Matinee bullriding
is scheduled at 2 p.m. at the Showbarn Arena.
Tickets: $10 adults; $5 children 12 and younger.
The Queen's Contest begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Robstown High School auditorium.
Tickets: $3 adults; $2 children 12 and younger.
The NCJLS dance featuring Five Card Draw will follow.

Avoidance Program
The Nueces County Junior Livestock Show Residue Avoidance Program is designed
to raise awareness and teach the proper uses of animal health products.

Scholarship recipients are seniors active in agriculture
activities
Beginning in 1991, the Nueces County Junior Livestock Show established
a scholarship program funded by 1 percent of the gross auction sale revenue, a
scholarship dance and sale of the carcass steer loins.
