Larry Joe Taylor will perform at tonight's NCJLS Alumni dance

Support the future - come join a new, exciting event that supports participants of the Nueces County Junior Livestock Show.

The NCJLS Alumni, a group of young and former NCJLS participants, gives back to the community. The purpose of this group is to organize and solicit support for current participants.

The alumni have organized a benefit dance, featuring country music artist Larry Joe Taylor, at the Showbarn today at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door. Proceeds will be awarded in the form of "Add-Ons" to exhibitors in financial need.

All clubs are reminded to make plans for the Club Neatness Awards. Individual plaques will be awarded to the winners of the divisions.

There is also a $100 Sweepstakes Award presented to the club or chapter winning the most neatness honors.
