The ballpark
Richard Borchard Fairgrounds
Address: 1150 E. Main Ave. Robstown, TX 78380
Location: At the junction of Highway 44 and Highway 77, 12 miles west of
downtown Corpus Christi.
Seating: 4,000 reserved seats, 2,500 general admission seats (6,500 total
capacity)
Rules: No outside food or drink allowed in the stadium.
National anthem
Tenor Andy Moore, who has performed at numerous events locally, will sing the
national anthem at tonight’s home game against the Aces of Alexandria, La.
Aviators officials are accepting applications from individuals and school groups
interested in singing the national anthem at the remaining home games. Send demo
tapes to: 1150 E. Main Ave., Robstown, 78380, attn: Kevin.

Special entertainment has been arranged for opening day:
A performance by the Sports Magic Team, an entertainment act
An F-16 flyover
First 1,000 fans will receive Thunderstix, mini-caps and magnet schedules
Fireworks
On the radio
All 96 games will be broadcast on KPUS-FM/104.5 (The Octopus).
KSIX-AM/1230 broadcasts the talk show Sports Wize Guys Monday through Friday at
5 p.m. with a special baseball edition live from Vernon's each Friday.
