Titan A.E. | Fantasia 2000 | Chicken Run | The Perfect Storm | Dinosaur

Titan A.E.

“Titan A.E.” was good because of the plot and action. It also had its funny points. The part where they eat live worms was sort of funny. The best part was when they named a new planet and called it Bob. The music was kind of good and the animation was pretty good. All around it was a good movie.
- James Bieniek, 12

The animation was extraordinary. The storyline was pretty good. It was part action, part love. The action part was about war and the love part was about a girl who likes a guy but plays hard to get. For the most part the movie was good and I definitely recommend it.
- Monica Garcia, 16

I really enjoyed “Titan A.E.” It was a nonstop action movie. It had a great story that I found fascinating. The movie also featured the voices of well-known actors. The movie had a new look. It was a cartoon but it was 3-D-like and I would love to see more movies like this. This is the perfect movie for kids and also older crowds.
- Andrew Aranda, 14

Fantasia 2000

This movie was somewhat interesting. It had many different types of animation, which gave the picture variation. It was basically all classical pieces except for the introductions, which were all done by celebrities such as Steve Martin, Angela Lansbury and Bette Midler. I would recommend it for children ages 5 to 10. I think they would enjoy it most because of all the animation.
- Raquel Aguilar, 13

The movie was boring because it was about cartoons and I hate cartoons. They didn’t talk in the movie and that was the other thing I hated. I don’t like Disney movies that much.
- Andrew Maldonado, 12

“Fantasia 2000” was a stupid movie ‘cause they didn’t even talk. In the movie a whale could fly and I thought that was so lame. Even when Donald Duck came out he still didn’t say anything. “Fantasia 2000” is so boring, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone because they would fall asleep.
- Demitrio Ramirez, 13

The movie is boring because in most of the movie they don’t talk. I hate cartoon movies most of the time. There is a lot of singing and playing instruments all the time and I don’t even know the maestros. That’s why it’s boring.
- Adrian Reyes, 12

Chicken Run

This movie bored me from the very beginning. It had no meaning to it so I fell asleep about 20 minutes into the movie. I woke up at the very end and left. I wasn’t disturbed in my sleep because no one ever laughed. It was a waste of Mel Gibson’s voice. It would probably be a great movie for ages 3 to 6.
- Bianca Garcia, 12

A movie most likely for ages 2-8. Being 12 I practically fell asleep in my seat.
- Robyn Rodriguez, 12

“Chicken Run” is a family movie. If the family doesn’t spend enough time together and wants to see a movie, “Chicken Run” is the answer. “Chicken Run” has excitement, action and comedy. That’s why it’s a great family movie. Your children will love it and never forget it. My favorite part is when they flew out of the chicken pen and to freedom.
- Adam Botello, 12

The Perfect Storm

“The Perfect Storm” was a good movie. I think other people would like it just as much as me. The whole movie was very good. The saddest part was when they all died. I cried. I screamed when a shark came out of the water. The rest was just fantastic. I liked the special effects. It felt like I was really there. There was one wave that went high to the sky. It’s like the wave was coming toward you and was just going to blow you away.
- Amanda Morales, 13

I liked it because just watching the three storms and hurricane starting to combine was fascinating. The giant waves were the best, just the way they turned the boats over and then turned them back over. Also before one of the guys died he spoke to his girlfriend hoping that she would hear. What he said was beautiful. At the end, his girlfriend tells his mom that she has dreams of him speaking those words. Those are the reasons I liked the movie.
- Melinda Morales, 13

“The Perfect Storm” was a dramatic sequence filled with reality and an outstanding plot full of family excitement. It was a talent-filled and exhilarating movie, and fun-filled. The fact that it was a true story made it even better. George Clooney and others understood what the real fishermen went through.
- Mark Moore, 14

“The Perfect Storm” is a very good movie. I love the part when the storms are coming and when they catch the fish. I like when the shark comes and bites the guy and also when the big wave comes.
- Adan Garcia, 12

Dinosaur

“Dinosaur” was an intriguing film. It was interesting because of the variation of animation. The extensive technology used in this picture was truly amazing. It gave the audience a taste of life back in the age of the dinosaurs. I would recommend this film to children between the ages of 5-12 because I think they would enjoy seeing the world from a dinosaurs point of view.
- Raquel Aguilar, 13
