Imagine the wind brushing your body and making you feel good inside

Kayaking Rocks

  Kayaking is lots of fun.
I was going fast and it was rocking back and forth. I had kayaked before on a field trip.
  It feels cool.
Everyone raced in teams in the kayaks, but the racing was just for fun.

Paddling a kayak is a workout, but it feels good because you glide and it feels like you are flying.
The wind brushes on your body, and makes you feel good inside.
The water splashes on you and it feels like you are taking a cold bath, the best bath of your life. Relaxing in a kayak feels like you’re in your own bed. Looking up at the sky feels like you’re in your backyard. Looking around at the scenery feels like you’re in your own front lawn looking up at the trees.
A lot of us had never been in a kayak before, but it was easy to learn. All you have to do is what you see on TV. Just put one end of the paddle in the water at a time and stroke on one side and then the other.
Once all of us got the hang of it, the coaches and the instructor asked if we wanted to race. We split up four to a team and the race was two people in a kayak, each taking a turn paddling. Kayaking was my favorite part of the trip. It was fun doing things that you never thought you would do. I felt good inside.
