a childhood in Paris, the Caribbean and
Quebec - but Olivier says such surface features don’t help much
in finding someone to settle down with.
Olivier has lived on-and-off in Corpus Christi since he was 20. The area’s excellent
windsurfing conditions drew him here, and the winds, along with his daughter,
have kept him here.

Christi has proven to be a good training ground for Olivier, whose muscled body
is as sinuous as his sails. He won the Canadian National Windsurfing Championship
in 2000 and has placed in the locally held U.S. Open competition.
