Summer Books
The
best part of summer is not the warm breeze or the relaxing bayfront or the predictable
box-office blockbuster.
It's the simple summer book: The great mystery that eases the boredom of travel;
the heart-breaking romance that sets aflame a lonely night; the massive biography
that lays before us a brilliant and beautiful mind to explore and admire.
For most children and adults, summer means relaxation, and the summer book plays
a central role.
Our three part series includes reviews of some of the summer's best reads, books
that have recently premiered and books that have not yet arrived but are worth
waiting for
There's something for every member of the family. Some may make you laugh. Some
may make you cry. Some may even make you think. And they will all do what every
great summer book should do - they will take you to a different time and a different
world and offer a different perspective. Here's to finding the perfect summer
page-turner, whatever your inspiration.
