There are five models of personal watercraftyou can look at when shopping around: solo, sport, supersport, recreational, and luxury.

The supersport model can also seat up to two or three people, but with it’s powerful range of horse power, it isn’t as easy to handle as the sports models.

A recreational personal watercraft will also seat two and sometimes three people, but they aren’t as powerful as the sport or supersport models. But the advantage is that the controls on this type of personal watercraft are easy to understand which is good for beginners.

Luxury models are designed for someone who wants to fit more people during their ride. However, while these models have some extra features, they are expensive.

When you’ve chosen a particular style of personal watercraft, there are some options you might consider. Ask a friend who has a personal watercraft if you could take it out for a test ride. Another possibility is that the shop you are planning to purchase from might allow you to test drive a one from their store.
