HOW TO GUIDE
How To Do Almost Anything
How to choose a LIMOUSINE SERVICE
Tips:
Don’t wait until the last minute. In order to make sure that you get the vehicle
you want, book the date as soon as possible. Often companies require a non-refundable
deposit to hold the date.
Before signing a contract, make sure all the details and services that you will
receive are outlined. Don’t leave anything to chance.
Check out the company’s limos before signing a contract or leaving a deposit.

For special events, people sometimes will consider hiring a limo service for
transportation. What they don’t know is that some companies don’t have insured
drivers, overbook for the day you need or may have poor-quality limos.
"You should be looking for very professional service. You should look for a limousine
company that is licensed, insured and permitted with the city of Corpus Christi,
and you should look for limousine that can fit their capacity," said Sergio Perez,
owner of Limousine Services of Texas.
The key to getting the best is to do some research and comparison. Does the company
provide references to allow you to check previous clients’ experiences? Are the
limos clean and in excellent working order? What are some of the packages the
company offers?
These are the types of questions a limo service should be willing to answer.
"When you call to book a limousine, most clients do want to look at a limo. They
want to see what they will be riding in," Perez said. "I’ve been in business for
about two and a half years. I built my reputation from the start by word of mouth.
A lot of people knew about my business because of the professional drivers I had,
the very clean nature of my vehicles and the kind of service we offer."
Be careful about who you choose. You may find that the limo service you hire doesn’t
have insured drivers. "One of the big issues with the limousine companies in town
is that there are a lot of ‘phantom’ limousines out there. Whether they’re not
licensed, not insured, their unpermited. The limousines for the city of Corpus
have to go through a pretty rigorous process of obtaining permits for hire. The
same thing with our driver. That means our cars have to be up to par," Perez said.
"That’s one of the things I would ask. ‘Are you insured?,’ ‘Are you licensed?’"
Take the time to ask questions. It could mean the importance of adding that special
touch to a special day.
