   ITEM OF THE DAY:
   1400 PEABODY AVENUE: A 19-year-old woman told police that someone spread beans all over her pickup, broke the windshield and flattened the tires. She also said a milkshake was thrown through a window, and three plates with obscenities were left on the vehicle. She said she thinks the vandals might be three people she had an argument with earlier.
   ASSAULTS
   4500 AYERS STREET: A 31-year-old man was accused of verbally abusing a 38-year-old man. The older man's wife told police that they have been trying to get a license plate for the car they bought from the younger man. She said that when she told him they would take him to court, he laughed and told her to do what she wanted.
   DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
   600 14TH STREET: A 35-year-old man was accused of threatening to kill his ex-wife after she refused to give him more than $20. She said he came to her home asking for money.
   CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
   1900 DELGADO STREET: A 46-year-old man said someone broke two windows of his home. He said he saw a child from the neighborhood walking toward his house but didn't see anything in the boy's hands.
   SEXUAL ASSAULT
   SCOTT DRIVE: Police found a 63-year-old woman at a public phone wearing only underpants below the waist. She said several men took off her pants so she ran away without them.
   TERRORISTIC THREATS
   2000 AIRLINE ROAD: A 32-year-old man told police that his 28-year-old ex-girlfriend threatened to have him beaten and killed. He said she is upset because they recently broke up, and he is afraid she will have some friends hurt him.
   CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
   3100 BUDDY LAWRENCE DRIVE: A 41-year-old woman said a 27-year-old woman entered her apartment and broke her coffee table and destroyed several plants. She said the younger woman started a fight with another woman at her apartment.
