Tina Natalee Farris Weds Lewis Andrew Dellinger
Ms. Tina Natalee Farris of Paplote and Mr. Lewis Andrew Dellinger of Corpus Christi
were united in marriage on Saturday, July 26th, 2003 at 6 o’clock in the evening
at Saint Paul’s Church, Iglesia Anglicana de Mexico in San Miguel de Allende,
Guanajuato, Mexico. The ceremony was officiated by The Reverend Michael R. Long.
Maid of Honor was Dr. Melissa Kay Lockard of Farmington, Arkansas. Best man was
Michael Thomas Dellinger, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were James Murphy Dellinger
III and Lawrence David Dellinger, also brothers of the groom. All brothers are
from Corpus Christi.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claude (Sharron) P. Farris, Jr.
of Kingsville and Ms. Sally Clark Farris of San Antonio. She is the granddaughter
of the late Claude P. Farris, Sr. and Doris Duke Farris of Healdsburg, California.
Her maternal grandparents are Ruth Beatty Clark and the late Capt. Nathan L. Clark
of Corpus Christi. The bride is a graduate of Calallen High School and received
her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from Texas A&M University in College
Station. She is currently employed by the Skidmore-Tynan Independent School District.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Harriet J. Dellinger and the late James Murphy Dellinger,
Jr. He is the grandson of the late James Murphy Dellinger and Violet Anderson
Dellinger and the late Harry Eugene Juergens and Ruth Mayfield Juergens all of
Corpus Christi. The groom is a graduate of Agua Dulce High School and attended
Utah State University in Logan, Utah. He is employed by the United States Department
of Defense at the Corpus Christi Army Depot.
A post-rehearsal party was hosted by Mr. Clyde Ellis, Mrs. Josephine Masterson
and Ms. Mary Stewart Masterson at the Masterson home in San Miguel de Allende.
The reception was held at the San Miguel de Allende home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Cavness of Houston. The bride and groom visited several areas in central Mexico
before returning to Corpus Christi.

Miss Melissa Ann Salinas Weds Mr. Gilbert Jay Cruz
Miss Melissa Ann Salinas of Corpus Christi and Mr. Gilbert Jay Cruz of San Diego,
Texas, were joined in matrimony on Sunday, August 10, 2003 at the Radisson Hotel
North Beach. The Honorable Judge Joe A. Gonzalez, uncle of the bride officiated,
the double ring ceremony. Melissa Ann is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hector G.
Salinas and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Baldemar T. Lopez, Sr. and the late
Mr. Jesus Z. and Mrs. Olivia G. Salinas, Honorary grandparents are Mr. and Mrs.
Gerardo G. Leal. Gilbert Jay is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Gilbert Cruz of San Diego,
Texas and the grandson of the Late Mr. Cecilio G. Benavides, the late Ms. Lydia
Z. Gutierrez, Mrs. Isidra Cruz and the late Mr. Trinidad Cruz, Sr.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a sleeveless ivory and rum pink Italian
satin exclusive gown by Mon Cheri.
The bride’s sister Miss Crystal Marie Salinas served as maid of honor; bridesmaid
was the groom’s sister Miss Tiffany Desiree Cruz. Serving as best man was the
groom’s brother Mr. Jacob Gonzalez and Mr. Ricky Perez served as groomsman. Mr.
Joel Valdez served as usher; Miss Victoria Garcia served as flower girl and the
bride’s son Nicholas Daniel Salinas-Garza served as ring bearer.
The groom's sister and brother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Margarito Maldonado served
as the couples witnesses, Mr. & Mrs. Herbert Motte presented the couple with a
Holy Bible and Mr. and Mrs. Pete Garcia presented the couple with the unity candle.
Honorary padrinos were Ms. Elvia Rodriguez escorted by her son Mr. Joshua Rodriguez,
Mr. & Mrs. Frank Rodriguez IV, Mr. Rey Salinas and the Honorable Judge and Mrs.
Joe A. Gonzalez.
The bride attended Del Mar College earning an Associates Arts degree in Psychology.
Both the bride and the groom are graduates of Del Mar College where they received
an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Radiologic Technology. The couple will
reside in Austin, Texas where they are both employed with Seton Health Systems.

July 26 at Our Lady of Guadalupe.
The bride is the daughter of Arcadio Valenzuela Jr. of Corpus Christi and Anita
Gonzalez of Denver, Colo. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesus Garcia of
Corpus Christi.
Nora Isaac of Robstown was matron of honor. The groom’s brother, Ricky Garcia
of Corpus Christi, was best man.
The bride is a graduate of Robstown High School, and the groom is a graduate
of Miller High School.
The bride is with Seale Junior High of Robstown. The groom is with Bay Ltd.
The couple live in Corpus Christi.

in Corpus Christi.
The bride is the daughter of Laverne Mason and the late Dr. Keith Mason. The
groom is the son of the late Gov. and Mrs. Harry Woodring.
The bride’s daughters, Dr. Deborah Carver of Corpus Christi and Dr. Diana Carver
of Topeka, Kan., were maid and matron of honor, respectively. The daughter of
the groom, Sarah Woodring of Kingston, R.I., also was maid of honor. The groom’s
son, Cmdr. Marcus Woodring, U.S. Coast Guard, of Juneau, Alaska, was best man.
The bride is a graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas and Kansas
University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan. The groom is a graduate of Kansas
University in Lawrence, Kan. and Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills,
Mich.
The bride is with Partridge Orthopedic Physical Therapy. The groom is an expert
witness in design patent litigation.
The couple live in Corpus Christi.

Aug. 16 at First Baptist Church in Tahoe City, Calif.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Gilbert of Reno. The groom
is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Boone of Corpus Christi.
The bride’s sister, Danielle Gilbert of Reno, was maid of honor. The groom’s
brother, Paul Boone of Hermitage, Tenn., was best man.

in Reno. The groom is a graduate of Calallen High School and Baylor University
in Waco.
