37 The breeze
Wind chill is most welcome when the temperature is 80 or above. Wind fills
sails and it's what gave those live oaks in the Rockport area their
cool look.
Wind average: 12 mph
Makes sports more interesting: Golf is more of a challenge.
Also, more reason to change sides after every game in tennis, every
half in football.
Styles: Wind sometimes actually dictates what hair styles
recommend, said Anthony Garza of Anthony's Beauty Salon. "When someone
comes in, especially those in and out of cars all day, we try something
low-maintenance that will still look good when the winds blow. They're
usually pretty realistic what their hair can do."
