OFFICIAL AFFILIATION: The Corpus Christi IceRays became the official WPHL affiliate to the IHL's Las Vegas Thunder Wednesday.
Terms of the deal include the following: Las Vegas will provide the IceRays with at least three players for the 1998-99 season, which starts Oct. 13; the IceRays will send up to five players to the Las Vegas 1998 training camp; and the Thunder may call up players with two-way contracts and players under Corpus Christi contract at any time. There is no limit to the amount of players that can be called up during the season.
