CCISD MENU


November 9, 2001

Here are the menus for schools in the Corpus Christi school district beginning Monday November 12, 2001. Menus are subject to change. Milk is available daily.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

Monday: Breaded chicken patty or chicken salad sandwich, mashed potatoes w/gravy, mixed vegetables, applesauce, roll.
Tuesday: Chicken burrito w/salsa (and/or chili) or bologna and cheese sandwich, Spanish rice, finger vegetables, apple.
Wednesday: Hamburger or cheeseburger w/pickles or peanut butter and jelly sandwich, baked French fries, hamburger salad, sliced peaches.
Thursday: Tostado bake with cheese and salsa or ham sandwich, corn, lettuce salad, fruit gelatin, roll.
Friday: Turkey w/gravy or tuna salad sandwich, sweet potatoes, sweet peas, iced cake square, cornbread.

MIDDLE SCHOOLS

Monday: Breaded fish or chicken nuggets w/ barbecue sauce or chicken salad sandwich, macaroni and cheese, mixed vegetables, carrot and cabbage slaw, fruit cocktail w/topping, roll.
Tuesday: Beef tacos with salad or bologna and cheese sandwich, pinto beans, tossed salad w/dressing, pear sundae w/topping, roll.
Wednesday: Breaded baked chicken w/rice or toasted cheese sandwich or peanut butter and jelly sandwich, broccoli casserole, coleslaw, apple crisp with topping, roll.
Thursday: Jumbo tostado w/salad or corn dog w/mustard or ham sandwich, corn, tossed salad with dressing, pineapple shortcake w/topping, roll.
Friday: Turkey and cornbread dressing or toasted cheese sandwich or tuna salad sandwich, sweet potatoes, sweet peas, lettuce and tomato salad w/dressing, sliced peaches w/topping, roll.

In place of each day's entree, students may choose chef's salad and yogurt. French fries, fruited gelatin and fresh fruit are available daily.

HIGH SCHOOLS, BROWNE, DRISCOLL, GRANT, KAFFIE, MARTIN AND WYNN SEALE

With each day's entree, students may choose two items from the vegetables listed with entree, gelatin, fresh fruit, hamburger salad and french fries.

Monday: Chicken nuggets w/barbecue sauce or chicken salad sandwich, whipped potatoes with gravy, corn, salad, roll.
Tuesday: Breaded steakette w/gravy or bologna and cheese sandwich, mashed potatoes w/gravy, broccoli casserole, salad, roll.
Wednesday: Hot dog or chili dog or peanut butter and jelly sandwich, potato gems, vegetable medley, salad, roll.
Thursday: Enchiladas w/chili gravy or ham sandwich, Spanish rice, pinto beans, salad, roll.
Friday: Turkey and cornbread dressing or tuna salad sandwich, sweet potatoes, sweet peas, salad, roll.

In place of each day’s entree, students may choose chef salad and yogurt. French fries are available daily. The following items also are available daily: grilled hamburger or cheeseburger; chicken burger; fish sandwich; pepperoni, cheese or sausage pizza; Italian lasagna w/meat sauce; soft flour burrito; tacos or corn chip pie and roll.
