What to Wear

Visitors will feel comfortable in casual attire while dining out in Corpus Christi.

Due to its semi-tropical climate, casual is the word for dress in Corpus Christi. Shorts, sandals and T-shirts are the most common ensemble.
For more formal occasions such as dining out, men wear khaki pants or blue jeans and short-sleeve shirts accompanied with casual shoes. Women will be comfortable in skirts, jeans or light pants and short-sleeve blouses, as well as sun dresses.
In the cooler months, light jackets are recommended. And because the region receives nearly 80 percent of the possible sunshine in the summer months, sunglasses are an important part of local dress.
