San Antonio, Dallas legal merger complete

The San Antonio-based law firm of Wells Pinckney & McHugh, which has an office in Corpus Christi, and the Dallas-based law firm of Strasburger & Price, L.L.P. completed their merger Monday, the firms announced.
The combined firm, which operates under the name Strasburger & Price, L.L.P., has 235 lawyers, including six in Corpus Christi, making it the ninth largest in the state, according to The Texas Lawyer, a weekly trade newspaper for the legal community. It has offices in Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, Austin, Corpus Christi and Mexico City.
Columbia finishes sale of 15 health units
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Columbia/HCA Healthcare Corp. said Tuesday that it has completed the sale of 15 hospitals and other facilities for $740 million.
Columbia sold its 50 percent interest in Presbyterian Orthopedic Hospital in Charlotte, N.C., to Novant Health of Charlotte. It completed the sale of 14 other hospitals, and one surgery center, in Kentucky, Alabama and Tennessee.
