USA Floral Products Inc. buys Florimex Worldwide

   WASHINGTON - USA Floral Products Inc. has agreed to acquire Florimex Worldwide, a floral-products importer and distributor, for about $90 million plus assumed debt.
   USA Floral said Thursday that the agreement, expected to close next month, will create a combined company with annual revenue of nearly $1 billion. USA Floral, based in Washington, is a floral-products distributor.
   Florimex, which comprises a number of Dimon Inc. units, has fiscal 1998 revenue of about $400 million. Dimon Inc., based in Danville, Va., is a leaf-tobacco dealer and importer and distributor of flowers.
