Alberto A. Trevino, a retired employee of the Regional Transportation Authority, died March 24, 1999. He was 79. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Redus and Minnie Hernandez, both of Corpus Christi; three sons, Ramon, Gilbert and Robert Trevino, all of Corpus Christi; a sister, Josefa Hernandez of Mathis; a brother, Alejandro Trevino of Mathis; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. March 27 at Seaside Funeral Home. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park.
Dilla Milton
ALICE -- Dilla Milton, a retired employee of J.C. Penney Co. and a member of First Baptist Church, died March 25, 1999. She was 87. Survivors include two daughters, JoAnn Heimann of Alice and June McCright of Corpus Christi; a son, Alton Milton of Aransas Pass; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. March 29 at Holmgreen Mortuary. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
Erline L. Wade
Erline Lillian Wade, an educator, died March 25, 1999. She was 88. Survivors include a daughter, Ginger Harris of Corpus Christi; a sister, Gozelle Loveless of Kingsland; a brother, John Baugh of Tow; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Hassie V. Neely
Hassie V. Neely died March 23, 1999. She was 90. Survivors include three daughters, Yvonne Hinde of Tyler, Nita Spencer of Taft and Nina Finch of Longview; three sons, Paris Neely of Chandler, Bud Neely of Tyler and Bobby Neely of Corpus Christi; a sister, Pearl Alexander of Tennessee; a half-brother, Junior Gunter of Tennessee; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 3 p.m. March 27 at Seaside Funeral Home. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park.
Helen Philpo
Helen Philpo, owner of Jeanette's Flowers and House of Ivy and a member of Lebasyr Heritage Society, died March 23, 1999. She was 76. Survivors include four daughters, Helen Donath, Jerrylen Clay, Charnell Graves and Loretta Mendoza, all of Corpus Christi; and six grandchildren. Mass will bChurch. Jack Swain
FRIENDSWOOD -- Jack Swain, an Army veteran of World War II, former owner of a service station and several automotive dealerships, former president of the Victoria and Refugio chambers of commerce, former director of the Texas Automobile Dealers Association, a former member of Victoria Planning Commission, former director of Victoria Boy's Club and March of Dimes, died March 25, 1999. He was 82. Survivors include a son, John Swain of Yorktown; two daughters, Kay Hicks and Bonnie McCay, both of Victoria; and seven grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. March 29 at First Presbyterian Church, Victoria. Burial will be at 4 p.m. March 29 in Riviera Cemetery, Riviera. Colonial Funeral Home, Victoria.
Juanita R. San Miguel
ALICE -- Juanita Rivera San Miguel, a homemaker, died March 26, 1999. She was 93. Survivors include two sons, Guadalupe San Miguel of Alice and Alejos San Miguel Jr. of Bandera; two daughters, Sara Gonzalez of Corpus Christi and Celia Galvan of Driscoll; a sister, Refugia Rivera of San Diego; a brother, Celestino Rivera of Big Spring; 25 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. March 28 at Walker-Mora Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. March 29 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will be in New Collins Cemetery.
Luciano Hinojosa Sr.
FALFURRIAS -- Luciano Hinojosa Sr., a retired painter and sandblaster, died March 26, 1999. He was 89. Survivors include his wife, Maria; three daughters, Virginia Lopez of Santa Elena, and Bertha Villarreal and Mary Costley, both of Falfurrias; a son, Luciano Hinojosa Jr. of Edinburg; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. March 28 at Howard-Williams-Turcotte Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. March 29 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in Premont Cemetery.
Malcolm M. Mayo
ROBSTOWN -- Malcolm Morgan Mayo, a retired farmer, died March 25, 1999. He was 81. Survivors include a son, Mike Mayo of Houston; a sister, Merle Young of Corpus Christi; and a brother, Clyde Mayo of Corpus Christi. Maria Antonia Galvan died March 24, 1999. She was 78. Survivors include four daughters, Rosa Perez of Corpus Christi, and Josephine Canales, Janie Aranda and Maria Navarro, all of Fort Worth; two sons, Mario Hernandez and Cruz Galvan, both of Corpus Christi; 19 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Randall L. Edwards
ROBSTOWN -- Randall Leroy Edwards, a musician and former employee of Reynolds Metals, died March 23, 1999. He was 46. Survivors include his parents, Aubrey and Darlene Edwards of Robstown; a brother, Sandy Edwards of Corpus Christi; and a sister, Candy Hunter of Robstown. Shirley M. Butler
PORTLAND -- Shirley M. Butler, an employee of Gregory-Portland Independent School District and a member of First Baptist Church, Vintage Automobile Club and Sparkling "W" Club, died March 25, 1999. She was 68. Survivors include her husband, Glenn; a daughter, Peggy Martin of Duncanville; three sons, David Butler of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Dan Butler of Grapevine and Ed Butler of Flower Mound; two brothers, Jim Sasser of College Station and Don Sasser of McAllen; and 10 grandchildren. Services will be at 3 p.m. March 27 at Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Home. Burial will be in San Patricio Memorial Gardens Cemetery, San Patricio County.

THREE RIVERS -- Ventura Aguirre died March 25, 1999. She was 91. Survivors include 10 daughters, Adalia Palacios, Delia Rendon and Emilia Ramos, all of Pearsall, Maria Montemayor of Madera, Calif., Altagarcia Guerrero of Uvalde, Ninfa Zepeda of Sinton and Eugenia Muniz, Sylvia Ruis, Janie Lopez and Irma Castro, all of Three Rivers; two sons, Antero Aguirre of Whitsett and Salvador Aguirre of Seminole; a brother, Eulogio Medina of Soledad, Calif.; 81 grandchildren; 185 great-grandchildren; and 52 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. March 27 at Roberson's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Three Rivers Cemetery.
