DOLAN
William B. Dolan, 78, of Corpus Christi, passed away Friday, December 11, 1998, in a local hospital after a long illness. He was born January 29, 1920, in Gussetville, Texas to Thomas Patrick and Rose Ann Pugh Dolan. Mr. Dolan was a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII, was a retired Vice President of a pipeline construction company, and a member of Riverside Church of Christ.He was preceded in death by his parents, ten brothers and sisters, and a daughter, Peggy Mack in 1982.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Middleton Dolan of Corpus Christi and a grandson, Ted Mitchell, Jr. of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Memorial services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Monday, December 14, 1998, in Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel.

SKIDMORE - Yvonne Herschap Doubrava, 59, passed away Friday, December 11, 1998 at a Beeville hospital. She was born December 1, 1939 in Orange Grove, Texas to her parents Sam and Thelma (Kirchoff) Herschap.She was a homemaker and a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church of Portland, Texas. Yvonne was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Henry W. Doubrava of Skidmore, Texas; two sons, Robert Doubrava of Skidmore, Texas and Gary Doubrava of Laredo, Texas; four grandchildren, Pamela and Tamera Doubrava both of Laredo, Texas and Holden and Danielle Doubrava both of Caddo Mills, Texas; one brother, Robert Scott Herschap of Beeville, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Sunday, December 13, 1998 at Galloway and Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, December 14, 1998 at Galloway and Sons Chapel with Pastor George Munroe officiating.

KINGSVILLE, TEXAS - Hilda Jean Garza Espinoza, 34, a former resident of Benavides, Texas passed away Friday, December 11, 1998 in a Corpus Christi hospital after a long illness. She was crowned Miss Benavides in 1981 and was a Benavides High School Graduate of the Class of 1982. Bernice Arnold Johnson, 98, passed away Friday, December 11, 1998.She was preceded in death by her husband F. A. (Slick) Johnson and her son F. A. Johnson, Jr., She is survived by her sons Roy C. Johnson of Corpus Christi, Texas and Gene Johnson of Victoria, Texas; ten grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. Sunday, December 13, 1998 at Seaside Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, December 14, 1998 at the Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
MEEKS
Mattie Belle Harper Meeks, age 91, a resident of Corpus Christi, was received into the hands of God, Thursday, December 10, 1998.Mattie was born September 9, 1907 in Beech Creek, Wynn Parish, Louisiana to Myra and Alexander Harper. She attended the University of Kentucky before graduating from the Louisiana Baptist School of Nursing in Alexandria in 1928. She was a very caring person and devoted her time as a public health nurse in Louisiana during the depression. Mattie moved to Corpus Christi in 1942 and continued her nursing career, working at Spohn Hospital on Shorelline Drive, P. and S (Physicians and Surgeons) and as a Nursing Supervisor at Memorial Hospital where she retired at age 65. She was a loyal member of Gardendale Baptist Church, and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eastern Star for 25 years. Matie had a number of hobbies, fishing being her greatest joy as well as gardening. She loved to cook for her family and friends and will always be remembered for her gifts of food. She was a grand lady, devoted caregiver, and compassionate person putting others before herself. She will be greatly missed and always loved by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
Mattie was preceded in death by her husband Eugene F. Meeks of Corpus Christi, two brothers: Otis and Clarence Harper, and three sisters: Ruby Slaughter, Eva Sanders, and Byra Smith.
She is survived by her two daughters: Jeannette (John) Combo of Phoenix, AZ and Taos, New Mexico, and Jimmie Nell (Mike) Dixon of Corpus Christi, Texas. Granddaughter: Andrea Dixon (Harris) Phillips of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Grandson; Mark Ganister of Windsor, California, four Nieces: Mary (Melvin) Clark of Lafayette, Louisiana, Bernice (Herbert) Isaminger of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, I.V. McClaskey of Euless, Texas, and Sue (Johnny) Wilson of Crosbyton, Texas.
Vistation will be held Monday, December 14, 1998, from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at New Funeral Options. The family will begin receiving friends Monday, December 15, 1998 at 9:00 A.M. at Gardendale Baptist Church, with Funeral Services to begin at 10:00 A.M. Entombment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.

MOYA
Mr. Jesus G. Moya, Jr., 47 of Corpus Christi, TX passed away Thursday, December 10, 1998.
Mr. Moya worked for the City of Corpus Christi for over 13 years as an equipment operator. He was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed playing golf. He was a member of Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church.
Mr. Moya was preceded in death by his father, Jesus M. Moya, Sr.; one brother in law, Oscar Perez and father in law, Gustavo Perez, Sr.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maria S. Moya; three daughters, Andrea (Leo) Ramirez, Connie Moya and Guadalupe Moya; one grandson, Gilbert S. Ramirez all of Corpus Christi; mother, Guadalupe Moya of Corpus Christi; six brothers, Mr. & Mrs. Robert Falcon of Corpus Christi, Mr. & Mrs. Rudy Moya of Annaville, George Moya, Richard Moya, Mr. & Mrs. Raul Moya and Mr. & Mrs. David Moya all of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Rosario Moya and Mary Lou (Domingo) Lucio all of Corpus Christi; mother in law, Andrea Perez of Corpus Christi; four brothers in law, Jesse (Sandra) Perez, Robert (Rose) Perez, Guadalupe Perez all of Corpus Christi and Gustavo Perez, Jr. of Houston; six sisters in law, Minnie Medina of Dallas, Janie (Jorge) Montalvo of Richwood, TX, Paula Perez, Soila (Jerry) Rodriguez and Irma Perez all of Corpus Christi and numerous other relatives.

PETERSON
T. LaVerne Peterson, 74, of Corpus Christi passed away at a Methodist Hospital in Houston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John B. Peterson, in 1990, and her parents, Edwin G. Smith and Charlye Ruth Smith, and her brother, Dr. Edwin G. Smith, Jr.She was born in Kingsville and had been a lifelong resident of Corpus Christi. She graduated from Corpus Christi High School and attended Del Mar College. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she was an active member of the Carita Sunday School Class. She was member of the Decora Study Club and P. E. O. She had also served as President of the Nueces Valley District Dental Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary, and of the Navy League.
Survivors include a daughter, Charla Artzer of Williamsburg, Virginia; two sons, John B. (Jack) Peterson, Jr. of Sugarland, and Bill Peterson of Houston; three granddaughters and two grandsons.
The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, December 10, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the Maxwell Dunne Funeral Home, 1222 Morgan.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 11, at First Baptist Church, with entombment at Seaside Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be Dr. O.B. Vaughan, Dr. D.I. Coggin, Dr. Charles Moore, Marion Moran, Oran Chapman, and Juan L. Brewer, Bill Sharp and Lewis Parrish.

SHEERAN
HEBBRONVILLE - Thomas Bernard Sheeran age 84 passed away Friday, December 11, 1998 at a Port Lavaca Hospital.He was a guager and driller with Texaco Oil Company before his retirement. He was also a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by: two Stepsons: Myron A. Spree of Port Lavaca, Paul E. Spree of Lolita, TX., a Step Daughter Frances A. White of Irvington, Alabama, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 14, 1998 at the St. James Episcopal Church.
Interment will follow at the Greenhill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Sunday, December 13, 1998 and the following day from 8:00 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. at the Howard Williams Turcotte Funeral Home of Hebbronville.

SIJANSKY
Adela J. Sijansky, age 81 of Corpus Christi, passed away Friday December 11, 1998.Adela was a member of SPJST Lodge #79 in SOKOL Corpus Christi as well as a member of the Fraternal Life Insurance since 1938.
She will be loved and missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her sister: Elsie Call of Corpus Christi.
She is survived by her husband to whom she was married to for 60 years: Frank Sijansky of Corpus Christi, TX, Sons: Randolph Sijansky, and Jerry (Jill) Sijansky both of Corpus Christi, Brothers: Edwin, and Henry Jurica both of Corpus Christi, and Albert Jurica of Mathis, TX. Sister: Lilly Hayek of Corpus Christi, five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 13, 1998 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home from the hours of 12:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 14, 1998 at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Mausoleum Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donation be made to Sokol Gymnastics Organization.
SPIVEY
Clinna H. Spivey made her transition on December 9, 1998. She was a resident of Corpus Christi and San Antonio, Texas. She went to join her husband, Lt. Col. Duren Spivey (ret). She will be missed by Dryek and Tiana Spivey her two children. Her celebration of life will be held later in Corpus Christi and San Antonio, Texas.Arrangements with:
