Teresa S. Auchmoody, 75, of 2 lake Avenue, Old Orchard Beach passed away Monday in the Southern Maine Medical Center, Biddeford.

She was born in Staten Island, New York December 31, 1922 the daughter of Pietro & Carmilla DeRoss DiMarco. She graduated from McKee High School & Bakers Business School in Staten Island. She also graduated from the Salvation Army School for Officers Training in New York City where she was a member of the Fearless Session.

In June 1945 she was appointed the Portland, ME. Corp. and Medford, MA. Before her marriage in 1946. She served with her husband in Winstid, CT.-Rochester, N.H.-Middletown, CT. North Adams, MA.-Hyde Park, MA.-Holyoke, MA.-Boston Central Corp.-Salvation Army Red Shield, Boston-Booth Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio-Keen, N. H.-Boston Rehabilitation Center, Boston-Divisional Headquarters Hillcrest Lodge, Sharon, MA. Retiring to Old Orchard Beach in 1983.

She is a member of the Salvation Army Corp. Old Orchard Beach.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years Oscar Auchmoody, Old Orchard, Two sons; Richard of San Francisco, California and David of Medford, Massachusetts, two daughters; Ruth Johnson, Old Orchard Beach and Judy Tompkins of Jackson, Mississippi. Five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm Tuesday from the Dennett Craig & Pate Funeral Home 365 Main St. Saco.

Leon T. Bost, age 99, passed away Friday, November 27, 1998 in a local nursing home. He was born March 10, 1899 in Excelsior, Minnesota and came to Texas when he was 10 years old. He lived in Robstown, Texas most of his life.

He is survived by one brother, Edward Bost of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a son, Fred Bost of Port Isabel, Texas; two daughters, Margaret Johnson of Mathis, Texas and Ruth Williams of Corpus Christi, Texas; nine grandchildren; and eleven great- grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 1998 at Old Robstown Cemetery in Robstown, Texas.

Robert Ceballos, 39, of Corpus Christi, passed away Saturday, November 28, 1998.

He is survived by his parents, Odelia and Juan Ceballos Jr.; one sister, Sylvia De La Torre; three brothers, Ricardo Ceballos, Rodolfo Ceballos and John Gilbert Ceballos all of Corpus Christi, Texas; his grandmother, Regina Ceballos of Victoria, Texas; five nephews and two nieces of Corpus Christi, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

ODEM, TEXAS - Cruz O. Chapa, 92, passed away at her home in Houston, November 29, 1998, Sunday after a long illness. She was a life long resident of Odem and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Odem. She was a housewife.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jesus Chapa and a son Esteban Chapa.

Survivors include: three sons, Francisco Chapa of Odem, Tomas Chapa of Corpus Christi, Benito Chapa Aurora, III, seven daughters, Jesusa Arranda of Aurora, Ill; Leonor Garcia of Houston, Alicia Sanchez & Anita Garza both of Odem; Maria Corona & Eva Garcia both of Houston; RoseMary Cabrera of Edroy, one sister, Leonora Arroyo of Crosbyton, TX, 41 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.

Rockport, Texas - Frances Greene Clark passed away November 18, 1998, at Rockport Care Center of respiratory failure.

She was born September 11, 1924, in Fort Towsen, Oklahoma. On January 12, 1941, she married Ellis Leon Clark of Monahans, Texas. They moved to Rockport in March of 1953. Mr. Clark practiced law in Rockport and served Aransas County as County Attorney and Justice of the Peace.

He preceded her in death in 1982.

Survivors include a son, Guy Charles Clark of Nashville, Tennessee; two daughters, Caroline Clark Dugan of Bremerton, Washington, and Jan Clark of San Antonio; five grandsons; one granddaughter; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, William N. Greene of Irvine, California and a sister, Mable Moses, of Hugo, Oklahoma.

The family thanks Connie Castillo for kindnesses and constant caring for Frances over the past several years.

Santos Fernandez, Jr., 65, of Corpus Christi passed away Monday, November 30, 1998 at a local hospital.

Mr. Fernandez was born January 29, 1933 in Brownsville, Texas. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Airforce and served as a Air Policeman. He worked for Reynolds Metal Company, Sherwin Plant for 20 years before his retirement. He was preceded in death by his sister, Consuelo Trejo.

He is survived by his wife, Geneve; two sons, Richard Arnold (Melba) and Santos Fernandez, II; a daughter, Diana Fernandez all of Corpus Christi; mother, Romana Fernandez of Brownsville; a brother, Jose Fernandez (Chequei) of Abilene; two sisters, Cesaria Serrata (Leo) of Alice and Concepion Vasquez (Alberto) of Brownsville; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many other family members.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 2, 1998, a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. at Clifford Jackson Funeral Home Chapel. Harlingen - Illustrious Sir Robert D. Henke, Potentate of Al Amin Shrine Temple in Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away at the age of 73 on Saturday, November 28, 1998 at his home in Harlingen.

Bob was born July 9, 1925 in Stapleston, Nebraska.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles Allen Henke and Minnie Layher Henke; three brothers: Bud, Peck and Gene Henke.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Henke; his daughters: Ruth Stoll and husband, Larry of Lincoln, Nebraska, Bonnie White of Ft. Lupton, Colorado, Mitzi Urbom and husband, Kevin of Arapahoe, Nebraska; his son, Robert J. Henke and wife, Robin of Minden, Nebraska and Carols' son, Bret Peterson of Aurora, Colorado and daughter, Kris Spellman and husband, Jeff of Shelton, Nebraska and 10 grandchildren; three sisters: Ann Johnson of Kearney, Nebraska, Bev Anderson of El Topia, Washington, and Bernice Boeckner and husband, James of Pueblo, Colorado; two sisters-in-law, Jean Henke, Kearney, Nebraska, and Doris Henke, Norman, Oklahoma.

Bob retired as Colonel from the U.S. Army in 1968, serving in World War II, Korea and Viet Nam. During his career, he was awarded the Bronze Star, 4 Purple Hearts, 1 Good Conduct Medal, 1 Distinguished Unit Emblem, 1 Army Commendation Medal, 1 Air Medal, 3 Presidential Citations, 6 Campaign Stars with a total of 12 Campaigns.

After retiring from the Army, Bob farmed and fed cattle in Iowa. Upon moving back to Nebraska, he owned and operated a Fiberglass Manufacturing Plant as well as Henke Farm Supply in Axtell, Nebraska retiring again in 1986.

Bob became a Shriner in November of 1960 in Sioux City, Iowa and after moving to Harlingen had devoted the last 8 years of his life to the Shrine of North America and the children they care for, serving as Potentate of Al Amin Shrine Temple in Corpus Christi, Texas this year of 1998.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, December 2, at 3:00 p.m. at the Naval Air Station Chapel in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Lila Mae Phillips Jennings, 95, formerly of Bishop, Texas passed away from pneumonia in a Corpus Christi hospital on Saturday, November 28, 1998. She was born October 28, 1903 to Benjamin and Roxie Johnson in Columbus, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Adrian Felix Phillips, and Howard Earl Jennings; her brothers Quinn and Raymond Johnson; and four half brothers.

She is survived by her five loving children Dottie (Vergal) Shives of Jasper, Texas, Charles Phillips of Nashville, Illinois, David (Darleen) Phillips of St. Peters, Missouri, Carol (Mike) Alexander of Corpus Christi, and Debbie (Lawrence) Suggs of Portland, Texas.

Survivors include her grandchildren Jan (Mike) Storms, Ron (Erin) Shives, Kevin (Barbara) Shives, Julie (Jon) Iburg, Jeff (Amy) Shives, Mike (Mary) Phillips, Shelly Sauer, Chuck Phillips, Vicky (Mark) Ruschak, Troy (Lisa) Phillips, Seth Suggs, and Travis Suggs and twenty one great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

William L. "Pappy" Klasing passed away November 23, 1998 in Springfield, Missouri after a short illness.

Pedro P. Rodarte, Jr., 69, of Corpus Christi, passed away Thursday, November 26, 1998 after a long courageous battle with cancer.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served from 1948-1953. He was a retired employee from the City of Corpus Christi Park Division.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Susie Rodarte; four daughters: Elizabeth (Juan) Rivera, Helen (Roland) Quezada, Edelmira "Del" (Rick) Carreon, Dolores (Ray) Rivera; two sons, Ismael (Rosie) Rodarte and Charlie (Gracie) Rodarte; fifteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several brothers and sisters; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Woods.
