   Home Landscaping Shortcourse 2001 is from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Oct. 25 at the Texas A&M Research and Extension Center, Hwy 44. Classes are every Tuesday and Thursday evening. Cost is $60 per family. Space is limited. To register, call (361) 767-5217.
   A seminar on Landscape Design/Xeriscaping, part of the Nueces County Master Gardener training from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Texas A&M Research & Extension Center, Hwy 44.
