Garden Calendar

A seminar on Home Vegetable Production, part of the Nueces County Master Gardener training will be taught by Tom LeRoy, Montgomery County Extension Horticulturist on Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to noon at Nueces County Extension in the auditorium, 710 E. Main in Robstown. Seminar is $5 and open to the public. For more information, call 767-5217.
   Orchid Novice training is scheduled for Thursday at 7 p.m. at Corpus Christi Botanical Gardens, 8545 S. Staples St. For more information, call 854-7624.
   Corpus Christi Rose Society meets Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Garden Senior Center, 5325 Greely Dr. For more information, call 241-7141.
   Fall Children's Garden registration is underway at Corpus Christi Botanical Gardens, 8545 S. Staples St.. The Saturday morning series begins September 8th continuing through mid-December. Class maximum is 60. For more information, call 852-2100 .
