TORONTO - Alanis Morissette will headline a concert to benefit refugees of the conflict in Afghanistan on Oct. 21 at the Air Canada Centre.
The "Music Without Borders Live" concert will raise money for the United Nations Donor Alert Appeal, which wants to collect $584 million to help the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees, UNICEF and the World Food Program provide aid.
All aspects of the show will be donated, including performances, rental on the Air Canada Centre, union labor, ticket fees, security, catering, and concert production and promotion, organizers say.
Other performers include The Tragically Hip, Our Lady Peace and Bruce Cockburn.
