A seminar on Organic Gardening and Composting will be held from 1:30 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, at First United Methodist Church, 801 E. Main, Rockport. Part of the Nueces County Master Gardener training. Holiday Floral Design Shortcourse is being offered Nov. 13 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. Class is sponsored by Texas Cooperative Extension, Nueces County and Master Gardeners and will be held at the Garden Senior Center, 5325 Greely. Cost of the course is $12 and is limited to 60 people. Prepare a holiday decoration to take home. Pre-registration is required by Nov. 9. Call 767-5217
