Yard of the Month
 |
| Paul Iverson/Caller-Times |
| Ray Briones stands on the parkway at the front of his home at 1635 Woodlawn Drive. His yard was chosen as the yard of the month. |
The yard of Ray Briones at 1635 Woodlawn Drive has been awarded the May Yard of the Month by the Corpus Christi Area Garden Council. Briones' front yard features carefully-tended rosebushes near the street, a variety of groundcovers encircling the trees in the middle of the yard, and shrubbery and climbing plants next to the house. Briones grows cut flowers at his home.
