Early voting mobile sites for the April elections

Today's mobile locations for early voting in the April 7 city election are:

The Home Depot, 5041 South Padre Island Drive, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

H-E-B in Flour Bluff, 10241 South Padre Island Drive, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Padre Staples Mall, noon to 6 p.m.

   Flour Bluff, Padre Island water pressure may vary
   Residents in the Flour Bluff and Padre Island areas may see changes in water pressure starting Tuesday as work crews repair the Flour Bluff Elevated Water Storage Tank.
   The Corpus Christi Water Department doesn't expect an interruption of water service during the work.

   Council candidates to be featured on TV show
   The South Texas Politics cable television show will feature at-large City Council candidates, beginning at 6 p.m., Friday on Time Warner Communications cable channel 10.
   The hour-long show features host John Marez, who will interview the candidates.

   Construction at SPID and Everhart to cause closures
   Construction at South Padre Island Drive and Everhart Road will cause lane closures from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, the Texas Department of Transportation reported.
   A contractor will begin striping along the intersection as part of a project that included concrete-paver installation and other modifications to improve handicapped access under the Everhart and Staples overpasses, according to the transportation department.
   The project also included work on Interstate 37 at Nueces Bay Boulevard and Buddy Lawrence Drive.
