   THREE RIVERS - C. Payton "Pat" Bateman, a rancher in Live Oak County and a member of the Three Rivers Rotary Club and First Baptist Church, died June 25, 2001. He was 64.
   Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; and two daughters, Stephanie Bateman of Austin and Jill Baker of New Braunfels.
   Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. June 28 at First Baptist Church of Three Rivers.

   Julious T. Bell
   ROCKPORT - Julious Thomas Bell, a cook, died June 27, 2001. He was 82.
   There are no immediate survivors.
   Services will be private.

   Mildred S. Bowman
   Mildred Sue Bowman, a member of Gardendale Baptist Church, died June 23, 2001. She was 81.
   Survivors include a daughter, Marion Louise Chisamore of Corpus Christi; a brother, Ray Moseley of Paducah; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
   Services will be at 11 a.m. June 28 at Gardendale Baptist Church. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

   Rebecca L. Dobbs
   ARANSAS PASS - Rebecca Lavon Dobbs died June 27, 2001. She was 44.
   Survivors include her husband, Mike; two daughters, Mandy Rivero of Orange and Randi Barker of Aransas Pass; her father, Leon Dobbs of Lueders; her mother, Betty Fossett of Ingleside; two brothers, Daryl Dobbs of Rockport and Michael Dobbs of Ingleside; two sisters, Cheryl Eaton of New Mexico and Tammy Hubbard of Alabama; and five grandchildren.
   Services will be at 10 a.m. June 30 in Prairie View Cemetery.

   Casimira R. Garibay
   MATHIS - Casimira R. Garibay, a homemaker, died June 26, 2001. She was 85.
   Survivors include three daughters, Martha DeLeon of Mathis, Maria Carranza of Sugar Land, and Paula Davila of George West; two sisters, Francisca Alfaro of Fort Worth and Maria Nieto of Abilene; a brother, Jesus Romero of Lubbock; 16 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.
   Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. June 28 at Dobie Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. June 29 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in San Patricio Cemetery.
  
   Erna M. Koenning
   ALICE - Erna Marie Koenning, a homemaker and member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, died June 26, 2001. She was 93.
   Survivors include a daughter, Dera Faye Gralton of Amityville, N.Y.; a son, James Koenning of Alice; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
   Services will be at 10 a.m. June 30 at Holmgreen Mortuary. Burial will be in Orange Grove Cemetery, Orange Grove.
  
   Francisco A. Quintanilla Jr.
   KINGSVILLE - Francisco A. Quintanilla Jr., a former employee of King Ranch and a retired heavy equipment operator with Civil Services for ARADMAC, died June 26, 2001. He was 95.
   Survivors include his wife, Luisa; four daughters, Antonia Ulloa of San Antonio, Lupita Christian and Cynthia Quintanilla, both of Kingsville, and Solia Long of Washington D.C.; a son, Alfredo Posas of Bayside; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
   Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. June 28 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. June 29 at St. Martin's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
  
   Louis D. Raatz
   MATHIS - Louis David Raatz, a self-employed boat and motor repairman, died June 22, 2001. He was 60.
   Survivors include a son, Louis Allen Raatz of Corpus Christi; and a brother, James Earl Raatz of Mathis.
   Services will be at 2 p.m. June 28 in Cenizo Hill Cemetery.

   Eugenia L. G. Tovar
   SAN DIEGO - Eugenia L. Gonzalez Tovar, a member of St. Francis De Paula Catholic Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary of San Diego, died June 26, 2001. She was 78.
   Survivors include three sons, Jose Gilberto Tovar of McAllen, Robert Tovar and Ignacio Gonzalez Jr., both of San Diego; three daughters, Olga Garcia and Maria Amelia Madali, both of Corpus Christi, and Evangelina Rodriguez of Austin; a sister, Marta Chapa of George West; six brothers, Marcelino Lazo of George West, Macedonio and San Juan Lazo, and Rogelio and Pablo Laso, all of San Diego, and Manuel Lazo of Houston; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
   Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. June 28 at Garza Funeral Home. Mass will be at 10 a.m. June 29 at St. Francis De Paula Catholic Church. Burial will be in San Diego Cemetery.
