Police seek clues in fatal accident
Police are looking for clues in the fatal hit and run collision that killed Reyes Ortiz, 31.
Ortiz was walking in the road in the 400 block of Navigation around midnight on May 30 when he was hit by a truck.
He died of blunt trauma to the head, chest and abdomen, according to the Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office.
Officers said they believed the truck that hit Ortiz was a large truck, maybe even a semi.
