Olga Casares, a homemaker, died June 8, 2001. She was 69.
Survivors include five daughters, Becky Medina of Houston, Sylvia Bucic of New York City, N.Y., Lupe Ramos and Dalia Recio, both of Corpus Christi, and Yolanda Casares of San Antonio; two sons, Ben De Leon of San Antonio and Raul Casares Sr. of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Blanca Reyes and Josie Hernandez, both of Corpus Christi; and four brothers, Humberto Ortiz of Houston, and Armando, Manuel and Raul Ortiz Jr., all of Corpus Christi.
Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. June 11 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. June 12 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Loyd G. Lipsey
Loyd George Lipsey, a former employee of Naval Air Station Corpus Christi and Bank and Trust of Corpus Christi, and past president of the Kiwanis Club, died June 7, 2001. He was 84.
Survivors include his wife, Faye; two brothers, Jack Lipsey of Gatesville and Bill Lipsey of Van Horn; three sisters, Polly Choat of Gatesville, Doris Powell of Rowlett and Mary Beaty of Beaumont.
Services will be at 1 p.m. June 11 at First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park.

Margarita P. Perez
Margarita P. Perez, a homemaker, died June 8, 2001. She was 89.
Survivors include two daughters, Dominga Martinez of Harlingen and Maria Macillas of Dos Palos, Calif.; three sons, Ernesto Perez of Harlingen, Manuel and Domingo Perez, both of Corpus Christi; a sister, Leonor Sosa of Fort Worth; a brother, Alejandro Pena of Fort Worth; 30 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. June 11 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park.

James D. Roby
INGLESIDE - James David Roby, a second lieutenant in the Army, former personnel director for Alcoa Inc., and a retired employee of the State of Texas, died June 6, 2001. He was 61.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; a son, David Alan Roby of Oak Point; a daughter, Dana Lanette Stockton of Pearland; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. June 11 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Aransas Pass. Burial will be in San Patricio Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Felicita "Fela" Villanueva died June 8, 2001. She was 73.
Survivors include three sons, Guadalupe Villanueva of Corpus Christi, Jessie Sanchez of Kyle and Joe Villanueva of Seguin; three daughters, Irma Villanueva of Corpus Christi, and Sara Garcia and Placia Downing, both of San Antonio; two brothers, Luciano and Edwardo Benavidez, both of Mathis; 35 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. June 11 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
