Auditions for IceGirls to be held on Aug. 3-4

Auditions for the Corpus Christi IceGirls, the official cheerleading squad of the IceRays, will be held Aug. 3-4 at the Corpus Christi Athletic Club.
The tryouts are for women at least 19 years old, and will begin at 7 p.m. the first day and 1 p.m. the second day. Contestants will be taught a dance routine, which will be performed in front of a panel of judges. A team of 12 girls and two alternates will be chosen.
Those chosen will represent the IceRays in various public appearances, as well as perform at all home games and the 2002 Central Hockey League All-Star Game.
