   Gilberto C. Aleman
   GREGORY - Gilberto C. Aleman, a World War II Army veteran and a member of First Baptist Church, died Jan. 31, 2001. He was 75.
   Survivors include his wife, Guadalupe; three daughters, Pepita Escobedo and Dora Gonzales, both of Gregory, and Elena Angel of Magnolia, Ark.; eight sons, Gilberto, Jesse, Richard, Samuel, Daniel, and Johnny Aleman, all of Gregory, and David and Oscar Aleman, both of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Sixto Aleman of Gregory and Juan Aleman of La Marque; 22 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
   Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 2 at Limbaugh Funeral Home. Burial will be in Gregory Cemetery.
  
   Santiago Casas
   ALICE - Santiago "Jimmy" Casas, a retired oilfield and construction worker, died Jan. 31, 2001. He was 58.
   Survivors include his mother, Narcisa Casas of Alice; two sisters, Estela Garcia of Alice and Susana Garcia of Houston; and a brother, Servando Casas of Pleasanton.
   Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Feb. 2 at Walker-Mora Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Feb. 3 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will be in Garcia Family Cemetery, Alfred.
  
   Alfred A. Cocke
   ROCKPORT - Alfred A. "Speck" Cocke, a World War II Army veteran, died Feb. 1, 2001. He was 74.
   Survivors include two sisters, Cleo Craven of Meridian and Frances Thomason of Irving.
   Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Feb. 3 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
  
   Thomas C. Davis
   HARKER HEIGHTS - Thomas C. Davis, an Air Force veteran, a former teacher and administrator in Corpus Christi, an assistant superintendent in Killeen, a board member of the Central Texas MHMR, Bell Country Youth Services Bureau, Killeen Chamber of Commerce, and the Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce, a member of Killeen Heights Rotary Club, Central Texas Cutting Horse Association, Central Texas Quarter Horse Association, Central Texas Task Force, and the Texas Association of School Personnel Administrators, died Jan. 31, 2001. He was 71.
   Survivors include his wife, Doris; a son, Jeff Davis of Watauga; a daughter, Debi Weekley of Temple; and five grandchildren.
   Services will be at 2 p.m. Feb. 3 at Belton Church of Christ, Belton. Burial will be in Killeen City Cemetery, Killeen.

   Raquel S. "Momo" DeLeon, a homemaker and a Catholic, died Jan. 31, 2001. She was 80.
   Survivors include three daughters, Christina Barrios, Imelda Garcia, and Grace DeLeon, all of Corpus Christi; a sister, Refugia Garcia of Edinburg; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

   MIRANDO CITY - Gilberto C. Gonzalez, a retired welder, died Jan. 31, 2001. He was 67.
   Survivors include six sons, Gilbert Gonzalez Jr. of Pennsylvania, Carlos Gonzalez of San Antonio, Antonio Gonzalez of Colorado Springs, Colo., Omar Gonzalez of Laredo, Evan Gonzalez of Bruni, and Jaime Gonzalez of Warner Robins, Ga.; three sisters, Raquel Mendieta of Mirando City, Roseana Garza and Rebecca Reynolds, both of Alice; a brother, Gonzalo Gonzalez of Hebbronville; and seven grandchildren.

   MATHIS - Martha J. "Marty" Hower, a medical billing manager and former resident of Corpus Christi, died Jan. 31, 2001. She was 62.
   Survivors include her husband, Ronald; a daughter, Bonnie Jernigan of Corpus Christi; a son, Ronald Hower of Kingsville; a sister, Patricia Baker of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; and three grandchildren.

   Felicitas "Tina" S. Reyes, a former employee of Driscoll Children's Hospital and a retired seamstress for Spohn Memorial Hospital, died Jan. 30, 2001. She was 69.
   Survivors include a son, Raymond Reyes of Corpus Christi; three daughters, Diana and Irma Reyes, and Olga Castillo, all of Corpus Christi; three brothers, Richard and Feliberto Salinas Jr., both of Corpus Christi, and John Salinas of Orange, Calif.; numerous stepbrothers and stepsisters, 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

   Survivors include a daughter, Sherri Vollmering of George West and Plano; a sister, Marvarine Brown of Mathis; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

   KINGSVILLE - Rita Saldana, a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Guadalupana Society and Catholic Ladies, died Jan. 31, 2001. She was 104.
   Survivors include two daughters, Petra Saldana and Sofia De La Vina, both of Kingsville; 16 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 44 great-great-grandchildren.
   Mass will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 2 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Burial will be in Chamberlain Cemetery.
