Two men jailed in connection with the stabbing death of 19-year-old Henry Limon were released from jail Monday after a judge lowered their bonds.
Mark Patino and Michael Franco, both 17, were being held at Nueces County Jail on bonds of $100,000 each, but District Judge Mike Westergren reduced their bonds to $25,000 each.
Westergren ordered Patino and Franco to avoid contact with Limon's family.
Attorneys for Patino and Franco said their clients are not dangerous and will return to court for future hearings. The attorneys said Patino and Franco are innocent.

Limon was stabbed at about 1:30 a.m. Sept. 9 as he walked in the 3200 block of Highland Avenue with three other men. A gray car with five men inside pulled up next to Limon and his friends, the groups exchanged words and a fight broke out, police said.
Police have said the homicide was gang related. But attorney Jimmy Granberry, who represents Patino, said his client is not a gang member. Attorney Hector Gonzalez said his client, Franco, also is not a gang member.
Sylvester Constante, 18, of Crystal City, and brothers Ramsey Torres, 20, and Eugene Torres, 18, also have been arrested in the case. The Torres brothers are free on $100,000 bond. Constante was being held Monday at Nueces County Jail on $100,000 bond.
A grand jury has indicted Patino, Franco and Eugene Torres on charges of murder and engaging in organized criminal activity. Cases against Ramsey Torres and Constante have not yet been presented to the grand jury.
