   Andres Aguilar
   SANDIA - Andres Aguilar, a rancher member of the St. Pius X Catholic Church, died Sept. 6, 2000. He was 77.
   Survivors include his wife, Maria; two daughters, Rosa Salazar of Sandia and Leonila Ybarra of Jackson, Minn.; four sisters, Dora Aguilar of Mathis, Ofelia Garcia of Sandia, Santos Garcia of Lagarto and Elva Olivo of Bay City; two brothers, Ruben Aguilar of Sandia and Adan Aguilar of Tynan; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
   Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sept. 8 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Sept. 9 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Burial will be in Blanca Cemetery.

   Patricio G. Botello
   Patricio G. Botello, a veteran of the Navy and Coast Guard, a eucharistic minister, lector and rosary leader at Christ the King Catholic Church, and member of the Knights of Columbus, died Sept. 7, 2000. He was 71.
   Survivors include his wife, Ruth; a daughter, Rebecca Sheldon of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Frank and Agapito Botello Sr., both of Corpus Christi; a sister, Hortencia Flores of Corpus Christi; and two grandsons.
   Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sept. 8 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Sept. 9 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park.

   Luciano C. Flores Sr., a retired bus driver for the City of Corpus Christi, died Sept. 5, 2000. He was 95.
   Survivors include five daughters, Juanita Gonzalez of Corpus Christi, Lillian Halkides of Canton, Ohio, Nancy Rossi of Fairfield, Calif., Rosa Silva of Richmond, Calif., and Claudia Graham of Santa Rosa, Calif.; three sons, Luciano Flores of Castro Valley, Calif., Nino Flores of San Diego and Henry Flores of Corpus Christi; 26 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
   Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sept. 8 at Cantu Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Sept. 9 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park.
  
   Cruz M. Garcia
   Cruz M. Garcia, a self-employed bricklayer, died Sept. 8, 2000. He was 74.
   Survivors include his wife, Irma; a daughter, Luidivina Powell of Indianapolis; a stepson, Guillermo Perez of Corpus Christi; and three stepdaughters, Luz Garcia of Corpus Christi, Martha de Sanchez of Monterrey, Mexico, and Sylvia de Chavira of Chihuahua, Mexico.
   Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Sept. 8 at New Funeral Options. Rites of Christian burial are pending.
  
   Linda S. Hendrickson
   ROCKPORT - Linda Suzanne Hendrickson, formerly of San Antonio and a former commercial property manager, died Sept. 5, 2000. She was 46.
   Survivors include her father, J. D. Jones of Schertz; her stepmother, Faye Jones of Schertz; her sister, Lisa Parsons of Shiro; and her grandmother, Rebecca Hess of San Antonio.

   Herbert C. Kilpatrick, a machinist for Walter Kiddie Precision Tools, died Sept. 5, 2000. He was 89.
   Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a son, Jerry Kilpatrick of Corpus Christi; a brother, Gene Kilpatrick of Maryland; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

   ROBSTOWN - Tomas Villalobos Leal Jr., a construction worker, died. He was 39.
   Survivors include four sons, Domingo, Daniel, Tony and Thomas Leal III, all of Corpus Christi; two daughters, Thilda Soliz and Tammy Lazcano, both of Corpus Christi; a sister, Frances Gonzalez of Corpus Christi and one sister from Robstown; two brothers, Joe and Johnny Reyes, both of Houston; and four other brothers from Robstown; and 10 grandchildren.
   Rites of Christian burial will be at 9 a.m. Sept. 8 at Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park.

   TAFT - Juanita G. Lopez, a homemaker and member of Immaculate Conception Church, died Sept. 6, 2000. She was 89.
   Survivors include two daughters, Rosa Alvarez and Imelda Zambrano, both of Taft; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

   ALICE - Ella Mae McLeroy, a licensed vocational nurse, died Sept. 7, 2000. She was 67.

D.; two sons, John McLeroy of San Antonio and Jeff McLeroy of Corpus Christi; a daughter, Kathy Stephens of Port Aransas; her mother, Pauline Locken of New Town, N. D.; seven brothers, Johnny, Lyle, Jimmy, and Darrel Locken of New Town, N. D., and Norman, Paul and Leonard Locken of Kent, Wash.; five sisters, Sharon Wasicek of Alice, Laura Holberson of New Town, N. D., Clara Thompson of Central Point, Ore., and June Dokken of Towner, N. D.; and three grandchildren.

   ALICE - James Joseph Nwosu, a former employee of the Alice Echo and a correctional officer for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, died Sept. 2, 2000. He was 54.
   Survivors include his wife, Beatrice; four sons, Collins, Justin, Kenneth and Brian Nwosu, all of Alice; three brothers, Patrick, John and Christopher Nwosu, all of Nigeria; and three sisters, Monica Anukem, Margaret Ihebinandu and Grace Okechukwu, all of Nigeria.

   ROCKPORT - Emma Leal Pena, a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, died Sept. 5, 2000. She was 72.
   Survivors include her husband, Benigno; four daughters, Ester Waddups and Estella Mendoza, both of Corpus Christi; Anna Trevino and Esmeralda Martinez, both of Houston; two sons, Carlos Leal of Taft and Johnny Pena of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Mary Torres of Corpus Christi, Rosa Sanchez of Aransas Pass; four brothers, Trinidad Nunez of Phoenix, Guadalupe Nunez of South Carolina, Rodolfo Leal of San Diego and Reynaldo Nunez of Rockport; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

   Lailon Cunningham Smith, a homemaker, died Sept. 6, 2000. She was 92.

   ALICE - Lucas S. Villegas, a retired truck driver, died Sept. 7, 2000. He was 94.
   Survivors include four sons, Antonio, Manuel and Lucas Villegas Jr., all of Alice, and Gilberto Villegas of San Antonio; two brothers, Guadalupe and Jorge Villegas, both of Laredo; a sister, Basilia Sanchez of Benavides; 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

   Jazmine Wade died Sept. 4, 2000. She was 6.
   Survivors include her parents, Naomi and Reyes Lopez Jr. of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Shantelle and Nadine Lopez, both of Corpus Christi; a brother, Reyes Lopez III of Corpus Christi; and her grandparents, Sidney Miller and Reyes and Marita Lopez.
