Monkey business confuses officials

Associated Press

SALT LAKE CITY - Medical personnel will try to explain some monkey business at the Hogle Zoo.
Rufus the orangutan has turned violent toward his mate, Eve, in the last year.
In angry outbursts, Rufus dragged Eve by the hair across the cage floor and banged her head against the cement.
Radiologists will perform tests on Rufus to see if he has a brain tumor or some other neurological disorder.
The ape has been given two medications to treat what is diagnosed as obsessive compulsiveness and anger disorder.
Rufus, who weighs between 120 and 130 pounds, will be anesthetized and taken by van to the hospital.
Rufus and Eve are both endangered Borneo orangutans.
