   Jose G. Amesquita
   ROBSTOWN - Jose Guadalupe "Lupe" Amesquita, an Army veteran and a pipeline laborer, died Oct. 8, 2000. He was 76.
   Survivors include his wife, Olivia; a son, Ruben Amesquita of Garland; a daughter, Maria Rios of Robstown; a brother, Rosendo Amesquita of Robstown; a sister, Beatrice Salinas of Corpus Christi; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
   Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Oct. 11 at St. John's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Robstown Memorial Park Cemetery.

   Julia R. Anzualda
   FALFURRIAS - Julia R. Anzualda, a homemaker, died Oct. 10, 2000. She was 94.
   Survivors include six daughters, Guadalupe Zucha of Santa Fe, Conrada Lopez and Alicia Cantu, both of Falfurrias, Luciana Flores of Premont, Marie Phinney of La Marque, and Amelia Martinez of Edinburg; four sons, Juan Anzualda of Falfurrias, Michael Anzualda of Santa Fe, Tomas Soliz of Riviera, and Robert Rodriguez of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Maria Chavera of Falfurrias and Diamentina Longoria of Corpus Christi; 42 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
   Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12 at Howard-Williams-Turcotte Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Oct. 13 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in Falfurrias Burial Park.
  
   Eloisa P. Cervantes
   Eloisa P. Cervantes, a domestic worker and a Catholic, died Oct. 9, 2000. She was 81.
   Survivors include four daughters, Rosario Navarro and Dora Moreno, both of Corpus Christi, Maria Ayers of Houston, and Antonia Vasquez of Sacramento, Calif.; four sons, Roberto Moreno of Lakewood, Calif., Vicente Ramiro and Carlos Moreno, both of Corpus Christi, and Marcos Moreno of Exeter, Calif.; a sister, Elma Gomez of Alice; two brothers, Felix and Nerio Perez, both of Three Rivers; 40 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
   Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Oct. 11 at Cantu Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 12 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

   Homobono Garza Jr.
   FALFURRIAS - Homobono Garza Jr., a rancher, died Oct. 9, 2000. He was 61.
   Survivors include his wife, Nelia; two daughters, Norma Vela of Falfurrias and Gilma Bigelow of Falfurrias; a son, Jesus Molina of San Antonio; a sister, San Juanita Longoria of Falfurrias; two brothers, Jose Lopez of Orange Grove and Salvador Mendez of Falfurrias; and six grandchildren.

   ARANSAS PASS - Mary Helen Gonzales died Oct. 8, 2000. She was 55.
   Survivors include her husband, Abel; four sons, Robert Gonzales of Richmond, and Pete, John, and David Gonzales, all of Aransas Pass; a daughter, Norma Jean Gonzales of Aransas Pass; three brothers, Alvino Huizar Jr. of Dallas, and Roy and Joe Huizar, both of Huntsville; four sisters, Josephine Flores of Rockport, and Mary Alice Rodriguez, Gloria Huizar, and Dora Hammer, all of Dallas; and nine grandchildren.
   Services will be at 10 a.m. Oct. 11 in Aransas Memorial Park Cemetery.

   Roy Hall Sr.
   Roy Hall Sr., an Army veteran, a member of the Brotherhood Union of St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church, a graduate of barber college, a retiree from the Navy base and a volunteer with the Oveal Williams Community Center, died Oct. 7, 2000. He was 85.
   Survivors include two daughters, Georgia Warner of San Bernardino, Calif., and Jean Hall of Corpus Christi; three sons, Liston Warner of Los Angeles, Randy and Roy Hall Jr., both of Corpus Christi; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
   Services will be at 11 a.m. Oct. 14 at St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park.

   Charles Arthur Herin died Oct. 9, 2000. He was 78.
   Survivors include two sons, Lynn Herin of Corpus Christi and Buddy Herin of Robstown; a daughter, Linda Haslands of Dallas; a brother, Jesse Herin of Ganado; a sister, Jewel Herin of Kerrville; and eight grandchildren.
   Services will be at noon Oct. 11 in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Edna.

   Raymond G. Mick
   SINTON - Raymond Gerald Mick, a World War II Army veteran and a retired farmer and rancher, died Oct. 10, 2000. He was 73.
   Survivors include two sons, John Mick of Houston and Raymond Mick Jr. of Dripping Springs; three daughters, Nancy Valenta of Sinton, Theresa Winsauer of Three Rivers, and Kathy Van-Fleet of Kingsville; two brothers, Homer Mick of Florence and Robert Mick of Sinton; and nine grandchildren.
   Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Oct. 11 at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home.
   Services will be at 3 p.m. Oct. 12 in Sinton Cemetery.
  
   Dorothy Pollard
   Dorothy "Nanny" Pollard, a member of Morgan Avenue Baptist Church, died Oct. 9, 2000. She was 84.
   Survivors include two daughters, Darlene Norris of Lolita and Yvonne Dowless of Corpus Christi; a sister, Edna Ruthinger; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
   Services will be at 3 p.m. Oct. 12 at Seaside Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
  
   Robbie L. Pope
   KENEDY - Robbie Lee Pope, former housemother for the Austin School for the Deaf and a member of Harmony Baptist Church, died Oct. 10, 2000. She was 87.
   Survivors include two daughters, Helen Becker of Alice and Lillian Zimmermann of Karnes City; two sons, Bobby Pope of Stockdale and Jack Pope of Victoria; two sisters, Lillian Cox of Agua Dulce and Winnie Wood of Tuleta; a brother, Jess Hyatt of Harmony; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
   Services will be at 10 a.m. Oct. 12 in Eckols Funeral Home. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, Harmony.
