BOUCHER
Leona Campbell Boucher, resident of Corpus Christi, Texas for 58 years, was called home by her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 28, 2000. She was born February 26, 1915 in Vanndale, Arkansas and reared in Wynne, Arkansas where she graduated from high school at the head of her class.
Mrs. Boucher married Merle Daniel Boucher, April 7, 1939 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, where she was employed as a secretary to the Northeastern Arkansas Boy Scout Council. She and her husband moved to Corpus Christi in March of 1942.
For 34 years she worked as a secretary for Amicable Life Insurance, Corpus Christi Bank and Trust, Richard Brigg Shipping Agent, Aetna Life Insurance and Vaugh Plaza Corp.
She has been a member of Second Baptist Church in Corpus Christi for 58 years where she had been active in choir, Sunday School and Women's Missions; serving in various positions.
Mrs. Boucher was preceded in death by her parents, William Zachariah and Margaret Elizabeth Sanders Campbell; three sisters Minnie Campbell, Ora Hebble, and Essie Stacy; three brothers, Louis, John, and Arthur Campbell.
Leona Boucher was a loving wife and mother who is survived by husband, Merle Daniel of Corpus Christi, and daughter, Ellen Jeanene Boucher of Clear Lake City, Texas; sister Virginia Henry of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and brother William Campbell of Wynne, Arkansas, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 30, 2000 from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Cage-Mills Everhart Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2000 at Cage-Mills Everhart Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church Building Fund.
CAMARENO
Victoria S. Camareno passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2000 at the age of 86. She was born in Cuero, Texas on March 23, 1914. She moved to Corpus Christi, living in Navarro Place over 40 years.
Victoria was a member of the Blue Army Organization at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband Guadalupe Camareno; a daughter, Christina S. Camareno, a son Benito S. Camareno.
She is survived by four daughters: Alice (Domingo) Mendez, Eva (Juan) Gonzales both of Corpus Christi, Texas, Gloria (Eliceo) Ruiz of Cuero, Texas, Rosemary (Jose) Salazar of San Benito, Texas; two sons, Rudy (Virginia) Camareno of Corpus Christi, Texas, Roberto (Rachel) Camareno, Sr., of Beeville, Texas; one brother, Carlos Gonzales of San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Ramona Espino of San Antonio, Texas; 33 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, March 30, 2000 at Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Home with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening.
Funeral Procession will depart Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Home at 12:30 p.m., Friday, March 31, 2000 to celebrate a 1:00 p.m. Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Adrian Gonzales, Jesus Mendez, Roland Camareno, Ruben Camareno, Robert Camareno, Jr., Rudy Camareno, Jr., Ricky Camareno, David Salazar, Danny Salazar, Jesse Camareno.
CARRALES
Ely Carrales, 66, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2000 at his residence. Mr. Carrales was employed by Newberrys Appliances for many years before his retirement.
Preceded in death by his son, Mark Anthony Carrales.
He is survived by his wife, Viola R. Carrales of Premont, Texas; one daughter, Alma C. Ademez of Beeville, Texas; five sons: Joe Ely (Sandra) Carrales of Premont, Texas, George Luis (Mericelda) Carrales of Angleton, Texas, Juan Xavier (Kathleen) Carrales of Freeport, Texas, Jose Eduardo (Martha) Carrales of Angleton, Texas, Stephen Al Carrales of Premont, Texas; three sisters, Gloria P. Salinas of Premont, Texas, Juanita C. Garza of Falfurrias, Texas, Maria E. Medina of Edinburg, Texas; four brothers: Jose Eloy Carrales, Jr. of Edinburg, Texas, Jose Eluid Carrales of Angleton, Texas, Francisco Carrales of Harlingen, Texas, Leonardo O. Carrales of Brazoria, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2000 at Howard-Williams-Turocotte Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 31, 2000 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at the Premont Cemetery.
CORONADO
SINTON - Guadalupe "Pita" G. Coronado, 60, passed away, Tuesday, March 28, 2000, in a Corpus Christi hospital following a short illness.
She had been a lifelong resident of Sinton and she was a housewife.
Survivors include her husband, Raul O. Coronado of Sinton; two sons, Raul (Priscilla) Coronado, Jr. of McAllen, Texas and Ricky Coronado of Austin; two daughters, Nelda (Armando) Aleman of Odem and Geovannah G. Coronado of Sinton; two brothers, Manuel Guerrero of Crosbyton, Texas and Noe Garcia of Corsicana, Texas; five sisters: Maria Luisa Trujillo of Sinton, Josefina Sistos and Aurora Garza of Crosbyton, Sulema Garza of Odem and Dominga Torres of Taft; seven grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2000 at the Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 30, 2000 at Primera Iglesia Bautista in Sinton.
Interment will follow in the Eternal Rest Cemetery in Sinton.
GILL
Mr. Joe P. Gill a resident of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on March 29, 2000. He was born on January 3, 1923 in San Antonio, Texas.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 30, 2000 at Cage-Mills Everhart Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 31, 2000 at Asbury United Methodist Church beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be on Saturday, April 1, 2000 at Rose Lawn Memorial Park in McAllen, Texas.

GONZALEZ
Olivia Sarmiento Gonzalez, 70, of Corpus Christi, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2000 in her home after a short illness. She was born January 2, 1930, in Woodsboro, Texas to Luciano Sarmiento and Guadalupe Santos Sarmiento. Mrs. Gonzalez was a member of St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church on Violet Road.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilberto Molina Gonzalez, her parents and three brothers, Raul, Raphael and Jose Sarmiento.
She is survived by two sons, Gilbert (Angelita) Gonzalez, Jr. of Nederland and Hermenijildo Daniel (Sylvia) Gonzalez of Corpus Christi; three daughters, Hilda Irma (Benito) Lopez of San Antonio, Rose Gonzalez of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Blascita Becky (Helio, Jr.) Perez of Corpus Christi; five sisters: Clara Hernandez of Kerman, California, Maria Morales, Aurora (Ruben) DeLeon, Leonor Bustos and Adelfa Sarmiento all of Corpus Christi; her step-father, Lorenzo Gonzalez of Corpus Christi; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was the most loving, kind, compassionate and understanding mother in the world. Jesus saw that she was suffering so he wrapped his arms around her and he whispered let's go home. He took her up to Heaven where she'll watch over us until we meet again.
The Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2000 in St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church on Violet Road with Rev. Morgan Rowsome, Pastor as celebrant.
Burial will follow in Robstown Memorial Park.
JASINSKI
MATHIS, TX - Arthur J. (Art) Jasinski, 62, of Mathis, Texas passed away March 28, 2000 in a Corpus Christi hospital.
Mr. Jasinski was born March 29, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and had lived in Mathis since 1970. Mr. Jasinski was employed in retail and wholesale sales.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Connie Jasinski in 1981 and by his father, Arthur W. Jasinski.
Survivors are his wife Carole Jasinski of Mathis, Texas. One daughter: Darla Priest of George West, Texas. One son: Clint Brumley of Woodruff, Wisconsin. His mother: Josephine Jasinski of Mathis, Texas & nine grandchildren.
Memorial graveside services will be held Friday, March 31, 2000 at 2:00 P.M. at Cenizo Hill Cemetery in Mathis.
SCANLAN
Brian Richard Scanlan, age 42, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2000 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He is survived by, mother, Margaret R. Scanlan; father, Thomas R. Scanlan; daughter, Ashley Elolf Scanlan; son, Brian Richard Scanlan; brother, Kevin P. Scanlan; other survivors include Pollee Scanlan and Barbara Wright.
Services Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 31, 2000 at Mission Burial Park North, San Antonio, Texas, Sister Claire Conway officiating.
SIMS
PERNITAS POINT, TEXAS - Cleve M. Sims, 65, of Pernitas Point, was called home Tuesday, March 28, 2000. He was born on October 15, 1934 in Graham, Texas. Mr. Sims was employed in the oil and gas industry as an independent oilfield consultant. A handyman by nature and an avid fisherman. Cleve was a tender loving husband, father, grandfather and caring friend. He was a faithful member of West Shore Baptist Church, sang in the choir, taught Bible Study with his wife and served as a care group leader, as well as being involved in mission work in Mexico.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Carolyn Sims of Pernitas Point; four daughters, Carol Ann MacDonald and Deana Shannon both of Houston, Texas, Laura Carlton of Arlington, Texas and Gail Serratt of San Antonio, Texas; two sons, Raymond Harold Sims of Graham, Texas and Dennis Serratt of Peabody, Massachusetts; one brother, Royce Martin of North Hampton, Massachusetts; 12 grandchildren.
Friends are invited to attend memorial services Friday, March 31, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. West Shore Baptist Church.
