With A&M-Corpus Christi leading 6-5 in the eighth, Wilkerson gave the Colonels the lead for good with a two-run triple. Doug Gill followed with a sacrifice fly to finish the scoring. Reliever David Bourg pitched a perfect eighth inning to improve to 3-5 on the season, while Alex Velazquez hurled a perfect ninth inning to pick up his sixth save of the season.
