Islanders men's basketball tickets on sale
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi slated to play a total of 14 home games

Texas A&M-Corpus Christi announced that 2000-2001 men's basketball season tickets are now on sale through the athletic ticket office.
The Islanders' second-season schedule, which was announced on Wednesday, features 12 regular-season and two exhibition games at Memorial Coliseum.
Season ticket purchasers have a choice of three seating options at 1999-2000 prices: Courtside ($154), Select ($126) and Island ($70). A family plan option, including four tickets per home game, is available for $224.
Single-game ticket sales will be announced at a later date.
Tickets may be purchased at the A&M-Corpus Christi athletic department ticket office or by phone at 825-5694.
Ex-Javelina TE Cole comes to terms with Vikings
MINNEAPOLIS - The Minnesota Vikings have agreed to terms with seventh-round draft pick and former Texas A&M-Kingsville tight end Giles Cole.
Joe Palumbo, Cole's agent, said he expected the contract to be signed Thursday.
Cole's three-year, $846,000 deal includes a signing bonus of $20,000. He will receive $193,000 this year, $275,000 in 2001 and $358,000 in 2002.
