   Thomas W.P. Echols
   Thomas Wilson Premeaux Echols, a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War and a painter, died Dec. 31, 1999. He was 48.
   Survivors include his wife, Linda; three daughters, Brandy Fowler of Tyler, Tina Kilman of Chandler and Tommy Ann Premeaux of Houston; a stepson, Shane Fulton of Corpus Christi; his mother, Alice Echols of Corpus Christi; his father and stepmother, Charles and Sylvia Echols of Corpus Christi; three sisters, Faye Gonzalez, Charla Rorer and Mandy Echols, all of Corpus Christi; a stepsister, Tammy Guerra of Hamlin; five brothers, Charles, Elton, Marvin, Barry and Jerry Echols, all of Corpus Christi; a stepbrother, Kevin Koblizek of Hamlin; and four grandchildren.
   Services will be at 1 p.m. Jan. 4 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Burial will be in Robstown Memorial Park, Robstown.
  
   Lillian M. Groegor
   PORT ARANSAS - Lillian May Groegor, a winter Texan from Wisconsin, died Jan. 1, 2000. She was 52.
   Survivors include her husband, Wilfried; a son, Eric Groeger of Duluth, Minn.; a daughter, Sherri Lynn Groegor of Norman, Okla.; a brother; three sisters; and one grandson.
   Memorial services are pending.

   Consuelo S. Gutierrez
   ROBSTOWN - Consuelo S. "Chelo" Gutierrez, a retired employee of Robstown Independent School District and a member of Club Padres de Familia and St. Anthony's Catholic Church, died Dec. 31, 1999. She was 88.
   Survivors include five sons, Juan Gutierrez of Chula Vista, Calif., Manuel Gutierrez of Golden, Colo., Librado Gutierrez of Corpus Christi, Isidro Gutierrez of Irving and Juan Gutierrez of Robstown; four daughters, Dora Gonzalez of Bonita, Calif., Lupita Garcia of Banquete, Isabel Benavidez and Juanita Ramon, both of Robstown; a brother Jose Luis Suarez of Robstown; five sisters, Eva Gracia and Dora Alonzo, both of Robstown, Maria de Jesus Medina of Pearsall and Julita Rendon and Juanita Rendon, both of Monterrey, Mexico; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
   Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Jan. 3 at Ramon Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Jan. 4 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Robstown Memorial Park.
  
   Maxine House
   THREE RIVERS - Maxine House, a real estate dealer, owner of Maxine House Real Estate Co. and a member of First Baptist Church, died Jan. 1, 2000. She was 74.
   Survivors include her husband, Elmer; three sons, David House of Three Rivers, Mack House of Corpus Christi and Steve House of Angelton; a daughter, Molly Yount of Sweeney; two sisters, Leta Graham of Blooming Grove and Minnie Lasseter of Midwest City, Okla.; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
   Services will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 4 at First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Three Rivers Cemetery.

   Kenneth A. Huff Sr.
   RIVIERA - Kenneth Anthony Huff Sr., a farmer, rancher and member of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church in Vattmann and Knights of Columbus and a former member and former president of the Riviera Independent School District's board, died Jan. 1, 2000. He was 74.
   Survivors include his wife, Mary Pat; five daughters, Monica Gresham of McKinney, Therese Palreiro of Riviera, Marie Bukowy of Canton, Ohio, Bernadette Johnson of Katy, and Patricia McMullan of Bandera; three sons, Mark Huff of Kingwood and Ralph and Kenneth Huff Jr., both of Riviera; a brother, Leonard Huff Jr. of Riviera; and 15 grandchildren.
   Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Jan. 3 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, Kingsville. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Jan. 4 at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, Vattmann. Burial will be in Vattmann Cemetery, Vattmann.
  
   Wilfred Manuel
   HOLIDAY BEACH - Wilfred Manuel, an Army veteran of the Korean War, died Jan. 2, 2000. He was 71.
   Survivors include his wife, Louise; a son, Russell Manuel of Rockport; and two sisters, Peggy Reeves of Ragley, La., and Gladys Buckholt of Arkansas.
   Burial will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 5 in Lamar Cemetery.

   Bobby E. May
   BEEVILLE - Bobby E. May, a retired Navy lieutenant and a Baptist, died Dec. 30, 1999. He was 65.
   Survivors include his wife, Helen; two sons, Bobby May Jr. of Memphis and William May of San Juan, Puerto Rico; two daughters, Deidre Balow of Fair Oaks, Calif., and Dawn Smith of Bay, Ark; and four grandchildren.
   Services will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 4 at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio.
  
   Katherine R. Meyer
   WEESATCHE - Katherine R. Meyer, formerly of Rockport, a homemaker and a Lutheran, died Jan. 1, 2000. She was 85.
   Survivors include a daughter, Georgia Murray of Corpus Christi; a son, Joe Meyer of Rockport; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
   Services will be at 11 a.m. Jan. 4 at Colonial Funeral Home, Goliad. Burial will be in Glendale Lutheran Cemetery, Goliad.
  
   Chester R. Pierce Jr.
   Chester Ray "Chip" Pierce Jr., a paramedic for Medic One Ambulance Co., died Jan. 1, 2000. He was 27.
   Survivors include his wife, Jenni; a daughter, Kailey Pierce of Corpus Christi; his mother, Joannie McDowell of Titusville, Fla.; his father and stepmother, Ray and Marla Pierce of Coatesville, Pa.; a sister, Julie Pierce of Titusville; and his grandparents, John Slonaker of Elmira, Pa., and Chester and Margaret Pierce of Lancaster, Pa.
   Services will be at 4 p.m. Jan. 6 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home.
  
   Santos A. Reyes
   KINGSVILLE - Santos A. Reyes, a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, died Dec. 31, 1999. She was 86.
   Survivors include four daughters, Maria Elena Crowley of Dallas, Janie Derryberry of Mercedes and Maria Elvia Rocha and Mary Quinones, both of Kingsville; a son, Guadalupe Torres of Kingsville; three sisters, Francisca Galvan, Margarita Garcia and Juanita Galvan, all of Kingsville; and a brother, Guadalupe Reyes of Kingsville.
   Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Jan. 3 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.

   KENEDY - Elsie Sophie Sahm, a homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church, died Jan. 1, 2000. She was 93.
   Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Pogue and Addie Mae Retzloff, both of Kenedy; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
   Services will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 3 at Eckols Funeral Home. Burial will be in Kenedy Cemetery.

   Rosa S. Salinas, a Eucharistic minister, sacristan lector, homemaker, rosary leader and a member of Guadalupa¤as and Cursillistas, died Dec. 30, 1999. She was 76.
   Survivors include her husband, Adolph; six daughters, Sulema Brown of Sutherland Springs, Rebecca Trevino of San Antonio and Patricia Garza, Margarita Deloney and Rosa and Annabelle Salinas, all of Corpus Christi; eight sons, Jorge Salinas of Seattle, Hector Salinas of Colorado and Alberto, David, Juan, Carlos, Marcos and Adolfo Salinas Jr., all of Corpus Christi; three sisters, Maria Cabrera, Delfina Jasso and Marcolfa Perez, all of Corpus Christi; a brother, Delfino Serna of Corpus Christi; 31 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
   Mass will be celebrated at noon Jan. 3 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park.

   Abraham Ybarra died Dec. 26, 1999.
   He was 29.
   Survivors include a son, Joel Ybarra of Corpus Christi; his father and stepmother, Joe and Alicia Ybarra of Corpus Christi; two stepsisters, Shirley and Terry Ybarra, both of Corpus Christi; three brothers, Robert, Albert and Joe Ybarra Jr., all of Corpus Christi; a stepbrother, Angel Soto of Corpus Christi; and his grandparents, Ambrosio Ybarra and Connie Soto, both of Corpus Christi.
