GONZALEZ
Javier Eden "Javi" Gonzalez, son of Eden and Cori Gonzalez passed away on Friday, December 31, 1999 at the age of 7.
He is survived by his half brother, David Andrew Hernandez, half sister, Edeena Medina, paternal grandparents, Ruben Omar, Sr. & Elva Gonzalez, maternal grandmother Rosario "Rosie" Gonzalez, paternal great-grandmother, Ofelia Ramos, maternal great-grandmother, Angelica Chano Gonzalez, God-parents, Albert & Diane Gatica, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services are pending with Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
GUTIERREZ
ROBSTOWN - Consuelo S. "Chelo" Gutierrez, 88, passed away on Friday, December 31, 1999. She was born on July 29, 1911 in Caderey, Jimenez, Mexico but had resided in Robstown all of her life. Mrs. Gutierrez retired from the Robstown Independent School District after twenty five years of service, she was a member of Club Padres de Familia, and a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. She was a very loving and caring mother, sister and grandmother whom will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Juan Antonio Gutierrez.
She is survived by five sons: Juan (Angelita) Gutierrez of Chula Vista, California, Manuel (Corina) Gutierrez of Golden, Colorado, Librado Gutierrez of Corpus Christi, Texas. Isisdro (Mary) Gutierrez of Irving, Texas, Juan Manuel (Lupita) Gutierrez of Robstown, Texas; four daughters: Isabel G. (Adolfo, Sr.) Benavidez of Robstown. Dora G. (The Late Ruben P.) Gonzaelz of Bonita, California, Lupita (Gilbert) Garcia of Banquete, Juanita G. "Janie" Ramon of Robstown, one brother: Jose Luis (Estefana) Suarez of Robstown, five sisters: Eva S. Garcia and Dora Alonzo both of Robstown, Maria De Jesus Medina of Pearsall, Texas, Julita Rendon and Juanita Rendon both of Monterrey, Mexico and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 2, 2000 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel. Rosaries will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday and Monday, January 2 & 3, 2000 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2000 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas. Burial will follow in Robstown Memorial Park Cemetery.
HART
SINTON TX - Cynthia Audys Hart, 92, died Tuesday, December 29, 1999 at a Portland Nursing Home. She was born August 28, 1907 in Lohn, Texas to Joseph & Evelyn Beard. Her mother died shortly after her birth and at age 5, her father married Maggie Malone and they moved to the Sinton area. On November 25, 1925 she married Roy Earl Hart, a Sinton area farmer, who preceded her in death on May 4, 1974. Audys was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whom enjoyed her family, cooking, and she was an accomplished artist. She was a member of the Sinton Church of Christ where she taught all of her children and grandchildren in her 1st grade Sunday school class. She was also a member of the Sinton Garden Club, and the Sinton Chapter of AARP and served as president of both organizations many terms. Mrs. Hart was a member of the Hilltop Senior Bowling League and enjoyed bowling until after her 90th birthday.
In addition to her husband Earl, she was preceded in death by her parents and stepmother, all of her siblings, an infant grandson, Gary Lynn Hart, her granddaughter-in-law, Amelia Frey Hart, and her oldest son, Edwin Earl Hart.
Survivors include her son, Joe Gwen Hart of Dallas, Texas. Daughter-in-law, Shirley Hart of Austin, 4 grandsons: Roy Hart, Jeffrey (Vicki) Hamilton, all of Austin, Wesley Hart of El Paso and Robert (Elizabeth) Hamilton of San Antonio. 5 granddaughters, Vicki (Robert) Johnson of Aransas Pass, Melissa Hart-Seaton of Angelton, Robin (Jeff) Vickers of Beaumont, Kaye Watson (John Rose) of Austin and Janis (Kyle Kennedy of Lake Jackson. Her great-grandchildren, Jason & William Hart of Austin, Jessica, Morgan & John Marshall of Aransas Pass, Beau & Garrett Egbert of Angelton and Conner Seaton of Angelton, 12 step-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Mrs. Hart will lie in state of Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Aransas Pass, Friday, December 31, 1999 and January 1, 2000 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, January 2, 2000 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Church of Christ in Sinton, Texas at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 3, 2000, with her nephew, Dan Shipley, Church of Christ minister from Burnet, Texas officiating.

KIBBEY
Lillian Odell Kibbey, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away December 28, 1999 in a local hospital after a short illness. She was born in Pawnee, Texas on January 8, 1921. She was 78.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Elmer Kibbey; two sisters, Wilma Van Zandt, and Rachael Angermiller; two brothers, Sonny and Oliver Wolfe.
She is survived by one daughter Barbara E. (Jerry) Smith of Blanco, Texas; three sons, Bobby J. and Billy D. Kibbey of Corpus and Boyd E. (Susan) Kibbey of Sandia, Texas; one brother A.T. (Norma) Wolfe of Berclair, Texas; two sisters, Lois Smith of Three Rivers, and Dorothy Brazier of Uvalde, Texas; two loving sisters-in-law, Lucille Gotcher and Cotton Wolfe. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday, December 31, 1999 at Clifford Jackson Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. January 1, 2000 at Clifford Jackson Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.

MARTINEZ
ROCKPORT TX - Longina Munoz Martinez, age 89 passed away, Thursday, December 30, 1999 in a Rockport, Texas nursing home. She had been a resident of Alice, Texas all of her life, except for the last two years when she resided in Rockport, Texas. She was born on August 21, 1910 in Cerralvo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Alice, Texas.
She was preceded in death by three husbands: Enrique Munoz, 1948, M. Soza in 1966 and Arturo Martinez in 1978. One son and daughter-in-law Enrique Munoz, Jr. and his wife Amalia. A daughter: Alma Rios.
She is survived by three sons and their wives: Ramiro Munoz of Alice, Texas, Iseal Munoz (Juanita) of Rockport, Texas, and Ruben Munoz (Maria) of Houston, Texas, two daughters and their husbands: Clara Nava (Rudy) and Gloria Garcia (Daniel) all of Rockport, Texas, 24 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.
Due to the remodeling of the Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport, Texas. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 2, 2000 at the Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Mrs. Martinez will lie in state after 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 3, 2000 at the Wilker-Mora Funeral Home in Alice, Texas. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2000 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Alice, Texas with Rev. Emilio Jimenez as celebrant. Interment will follow in the New Colloins Cemetery in Alice, Texas.

Rosa S. Salinas, 76, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 1999 in a local hospital.
Rosa was a member of the Guadalupanas, CDA, Eucharistic Minister, Sacristan Lector, CCD Teacher, Choir, Rosary Leader, Cursillista, and she volunteered for all who needed her. She was a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who's lives she touched. She is preceded in death by three grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years Adolph G. Salinas, Sr. of Corpus Christi, Texas; her children Adolfo Salinas, Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas; Sulema Susana (James) Brown of Sutherland Springs, Alberto Ruben (Diana) Salinas of Corpus Christi, Texas; Jorge Raymundo Sr. (Lila) Salinas of Seattle, Washington, Rosa Salinas, Annabelle Salinas, David Ramon Sr. (Maria) Salinas all of Corpus Christi, Texas; Hector Roque Salinas, Sr. of Colorado; Juan Manuel Salinas, Carlos Edwardo Salinas, Patricia Ann (James) Garza, Marcos Daniel (Michelle) Salinas, Margarita Rita DeLoney all of Corpus Christi, Texas; Rebecca Petra (David) Trevino of San Antonio, Texas; 31 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; her brother, Delfino (Bertha) Serna, her sisters Maria Cabrera, her twin sister Delfina Jasso and Marcolfa Perez all of Corpus Christi, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 1, 2000 and Sunday, January 2, 2000 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
A rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 2, 2000 at Holy Family Catholic Church.
Resurrection Mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, January 3, 2000 at Holy Family Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
VAUGHN
Richard Charles Vaughn, 50, of Portland passed away Sunday, December 26, 1999.
Richard was born May 19, 1949 in Providence, Rhode Island. He was a submariner in the U.S. Navy for two years and served on the USS Alagash and USS Seawolf. Richard worked for Bath Tub Refinishers of South Texas for 12 years and Safe Guard Mini Storage for four years and during Tax Season at H&R Block.
He is survived by his daughter, Amy Vaughn; son, Glen Vaughn both of Corpus Christi; wife, Melissa of Portland; mother, Catherine Vaughn of Corpus Christi; and one brother, Robert G. Vaughn of Wakefield, Rhode Island.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2000 at Jackson Wood Presbyterian Church, 10500 Stonewall.
The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Heart Association or to Youth City.
