Toronto sinks Pittsburgh in 5-1 win

Associated Press

TORONTO - Darcy Tucker scored twice and Curtis Joseph stopped 29 shots as the Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-1 Saturday night.
The Penguins played their first game since Mario Lemieux announced his comeback. Lemieux, expected to play his first game later this month, didn't make the trip to Toronto, but his presence was felt.
Reporters descended on Pittsburgh's game-day skate, asking about Lemieux's return. During the game, a fan wearing a Leafs jersey held up a sign that read "Hurry Back Mario!," while others sported Lemieux's jersey.
Tucker gave Toronto a 2-1 lead at 1:21 of the first. He made it 4-1 with a wrist shot past Pittsburgh goalie Garth Snow at 11:35 of the third.
Mats Sundin, Gary Roberts and Yanic Perreault also scored for Toronto. Igor Korolev and Shayne Corson each had two assists.
   Robert Lang scored for Pittsburgh.
Sundin recorded his 10th point in the last five games by scoring a power-play goal at 16:21 of the first.
Lang scored on a breakaway just 26 seconds into the second.
Roberts made it 3-1 at 17:59 when he backhanded the puck off the skate of Snow.
