   Rosa A. Bockholt
   ROBSTOWN - Rosa Anna Bockholt, a homemaker, a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Violet, and a charter member of St. Anthony's Altar Society, died Aug. 29, 2000. She was 89.
   Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Walls of Robstown; six sons, Anton Bockholt of College Station, James and Leo Bockholt Sr., both of Robstown, Eugene Bockholt of Sugar Land, Raymond Bockholt of Dallas, and Richard Bockholt of Portland; two sisters, Agnes Meixner of Elm Mott and Louise Sparks of Gholson; a brother, Henry Glatter of West; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
   Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Aug. 31 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Violet. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Sept. 1 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Violet. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, Violet.

   Jesusa Canchola
   Jesusa Canchola, a homemaker and a Catholic, died Aug. 28, 2000. She was 72.
   Survivors include four daughters, Olga Avalos, Eva Perez, and Rachel Caballero, all of Corpus Christi, and Alicia Canchola of Missouri City; four sons, Rudy, Oscar, Robert, and Martin Canchola Jr., all of Corpus Christi; her mother, Matilde Pulido of Corpus Christi; 17 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
   Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 30 at Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 31 at Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio.
  
   Jesus Chapa Jr.
   ALICE - Jesus Chapa Jr. died Aug. 26, 2000. He was 36.
   Survivors include his wife, Hilda Chapa of Agua Dulce; two sons, Jesse Chapa III of Agua Dulce, and Jesse Jeremy Chapa of Alice; a daughter, Natasha Chapa of Agua Dulce; his mother, Hilda Estrada of Alice; three brothers, Gabriel Chapa of Dallas, Rene Chapa of Las Vegas, and Carlos Estrada of Alice; and two sisters, Martha and Eliza Chapa, both of Alice.
   Mass will be celebrated at noon Aug. 30 at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Alice. Burial will be in New Collins Cemetery.

   Daniel Christensen
   RIVIERA - Daniel Christensen, a World War II Army veteran, a former Civil Service refrigeration and electrical mechanic, and a former cattle rancher, died Aug. 29, 2000. He was 86.
   Survivors include his wife, Faye; a daughter, Dana Daniel of San Antonio; a son, Barry Christensen of Riviera; and seven grandchildren.
   Services will be at 10 a.m. Aug. 31 at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, Kingsville. Burial will be in Riviera Cemetery.
  
   Tanna N. Epps
   Tanna Nycole Epps, infant daughter of Tracy Johnson and Faizon Epps, died Aug. 29, 2000.
   Other survivors include two brothers, Tré Johnson of Corpus Christi and Joshua Epps of Fort Worth; and her grandparents, Shirley Johnson and Wesley George, both of Corpus Christi, and Gloria Epps of New York.
   Services will be at noon Aug. 31 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

   Diane Lee Trevino Favata, a homemaker, died Aug. 27, 2000. She was 24.
   Survivors include her husband, Vicente; two daughters, Meranda and Lorainna Favata, both of Corpus Christi; a son, Justis Favata of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Robert Trevino of Bishop and Patrick Trevino of Kingsville; and three sisters, Audra Trevino of Kingsville, and Belinda Garibaldo and Michelle Bazan, both of Killeen.

   Alfonso L. Garcia Jr.
   ROCKPORT - Alfonso L. Garcia Jr., past owner and operator of Garcia's Paint & Body Shop and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, died Aug. 27, 2000. He was 56.
   Survivors include his wife, Zulema; a son, Alfonso Garcia III of Rockport; three daughters, Belinda Martinez, Anabell McLead, and Joanna Zamudio, all of Rockport; a brother, Alonzo Garcia of San Diego; three sisters, Esperanza and Lupita Garcia, and Yolanda Galvan, all of San Diego; and five grandchildren.
   Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Aug. 30 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in Rockport Cemetery.

   ALICE - Jose B. Garcia, a former carpenter, died Aug. 28, 2000. He was 84.
   Survivors include his wife, Enedelia; four sons, Jose Garcia of Ben Bolt, and Ernesto, Ramiro, and Rogelio Garcia, all of Alice; four daughters, Zoila Trejo of Alice, Rosa Salinas of Mission, Ofelia Culver of Salem, Ore., and Lorenza Garza of Palm Springs, Calif.; a sister, Margarita Ortiz of Alice; 31 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

   BENAVIDES - Teresa B. Garza, a member of Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society, and Catholic Daughters of America, died Aug. 27, 2000. She was 87.
   Survivors include a son, Leandro Garza III of Houston; a daughter, Ann Walker of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Manuel Bozada Jr. of Hebbronville and Alfonso Bozada of St. Louis; a sister, Mary Delgado of Austin; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

   ROCKPORT - Rene Reynaldo Gonzales, a shrimper and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, died Aug. 27, 2000. He was 21.
   Survivors include a daughter, Alesia Gonzales of Rockport; his parents, Rene and Irene Gonzales of Aransas Pass; two sisters, Tiffany Gonzales and Yvette Corpus, both of Rockport; and his grandparents, Antonio Garcia of Kemah, Roselinda and Benjamin Rodriguez of Rockport, and Otilia and Victor Hernandez of Rockport.

   Evangelina Gonzalez died Aug. 27, 2000. She was 59.

   KINGSVILLE - Petra M. Hernandez, a homemaker, died Aug. 28, 2000. She was 82.
   Survivors include a daughter, Adolina Esparza of Driscoll; four sons, Nicolas Hernandez Jr. of Corpus Christi, Teodoro and Baldemar Hernandez, both of Kingsville, and Ramiro Hernandez of Austin; a brother, Armando Montoya of Kentucky; 24 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

   Georgia M. Hildebrand
   Georgia "Dixie" M. Hildebrand, a member of B.P.O. Does Drove No. 46, died Aug. 28, 2000. She was 92.
   Survivors include a son, James Hildebrand of Houston; and a stepdaughter, Beverly Leathers of Olympia, Wash.
   Services will be at 3 p.m. Aug. 30 at Seaside Funeral Home.
  
   Quinn R. Mussman
   MATHIS - Quinn "Pete" R. Mussman, a World War II Army veteran, a two-time Purple Heart recipient, a retired operator at Wesley Seale Dam, a former owner and operator of a service station, a member of the VFW post in Mathis, and a former Assistant Chief of the Mathis Volunteer Fire Department, died Aug. 28, 2000. He was 74.
   Survivors include a daughter, Linda Lamprecht of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Victor Mussman of Corpus Christi and Marvin Mussman of Orange Grove; two sisters, Pauline Swift of San Diego, Calif. and Florence Carlisle of Beaumont; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
   Services will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 31 at Dobie Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cenizo Hill Cemetery.
  
   Frances J. Robinson
   Frances Janice Robinson, a homemaker, a former employee of Dillards Department Store, and member of the Church of Christi in Beeville, died Aug. 28, 2000. She was 78.
   Survivors include two daughters, Naydean Rimmer and Gayle Barnett, both of Corpus Christi; two sons, Ron Robinson of Bandera and Tom Robinson of San Antonio; a sister, Margaret Kenslow of Mountain Grove, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
   Services will be at 2 p.m. Sept. 1 at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home, Beeville. Burial will be in Argenta Cemetery, Live Oak County.

   BANQUETE - Ramon Saenz Jr., a former employee of CC Pump Service, died Aug. 26, 2000. He was 70.
   Survivors include his wife, Elvira; a son, Mario Saenz of Banquete; four sisters, Maria Saenz, Hermila Saenz, Odilia Resendez, and San Juana Saenz, all of Banquete; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

   Lloyd M. Smith, a member of the First Lutheran Church, died Aug. 28, 2000. He was 91.

   BAYSIDE - Frank Junior Sprott, a World War II Navy veteran, and a retired shop foreman with Oilfield Service Co., died Aug. 29, 2000. He was 73.
   Survivors include his wife, Barbara Sprott of Corpus Christi; a daughter, Kathy Carpenter of Austin; three sons, William and Joel Sprott, both of Houston, and Matthew Sprott of Bruce Crossing, Mich.; a sister, Cora Brock of Tuleta; and three grandchildren.
