Alice 31, Flour Bluff 6
ALICE - he's a quarterback, but J.P Pruneda did a little bit of everything for the Coyotes when they improved to 4-1 in district and 6-2 overall with a convincing victory over the Hornets.
Pruneda ran for touchdowns of 5, 8 and 39 yards and chewed up a total of 139 of the Coyotes' 349 rushing yards.
He also completed 4 of 9 passes for 73 yards against an overmatched Flour Bluff (0-5, 1-7) defense.
Ryan Moulder gained 128 yards in 17 rushing attempts for Alice, which overcame two lost fumbles. The Coyotes only had to punt once all night.
Flour Bluff was led by John Paul Barta who ran 27 times for 142 yards. The Hornets gained 215 total yards, 196 of them on the ground.
