   THE SCOOP: Corpus Christi has had four days to recover from the 4-3 overtime loss to Abilene, the team's first road defeat . . . The expansion Lubbock Cotton Kings come into the Igloo as the WPHL leaders in goals scored with 55 and minor penalties with 106 . . . The IceRays lead the WPHL in assists (86) and total points with 137 . . . Jody Praznik's 13 assists put him in a two-way tie for the No. 2 league ranking in that category; Praznik is also tied for second for top-scoring WPHL defensemen . . . Lubbock's Arturs Kupaks is the top scoring defenseman in the league with 17 points (5 goals, 12 assists). Cotton Kings forward Mark Green leads league in goals with 12 in 11 games . . .
