STALLINGS
Paul Stallings, age 51, of Corpus Christi, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 1999. Paul was born July 13, 1947 in Corpus Christi, TX. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He had many friends and was loyal to all. He had a lifelong love of fishing, the beach, and a renewed love of golf. He will be deeply loved and missed by his family and friends.
His father, John L. Stallings, precedes him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife of ten years, Chaeri Stallings, and beloved daughter, Lauren Paige Stallings of Corpus Christi, TX, mother, Virginia Stallings and mother-in-law, Priscilla Aramburu both of Corpus Christi, two sisters, Jonna (Robert) McGuffie of Corpus Christi, and Robin (Billy) King of Orange Grove, TX, three nieces, Ginger (Mick) Morris of Carlow, Ireland, Candy (Joe) Ruan, and Mariah Willis both of Corpus Christi, two great nieces: Samantha Willis and Hannah Ruan, and one great nephew, Noah Ruan, all of Corpus Christi, three aunts, Mary (James) Allen of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Barbara Daniel of Lubbock, TX and May Stallings of Dallas, TX and numerous cousins. BULL
Clifton Bull, 83, of Waco, died Monday July 12, 1999 in Waco.
Services will be Thursday July 15, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Laguna Park, Texas with Rev. Chris Carlson officiating.
Visitation with the family at the funeral home will be 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday July 14, 1999.
Mr. Bull was born January 20, 1916 in St. Jo, Texas to Samuel Floyd and Arnetta Bull. He was an employee of Exxon Corporation for 35 years and was currently a member of Exxon Annuitant Club.
He is survived by his wife, Inez Bull; one daughter, Sheri Bull Anderson, son-in-law, Dr. Robert Anderson; one grandson, Robert Trace Anderson, all of Arlington and one sister, Juanita Gibson of Kingsville, Texas.
He was predeceased in death by his parents and by the following brothers and sisters, Forice Bull, Viola Clark, Clara Stanford, Johnny Coulter, Roscoe Bull, Leo Bull, W.A. Bull, David Bull and Nel Schuchert.
Honorary Pallbearers are his nephews.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Laguna Park, Texas, American Cancer Society or Baylor University.
CROSS
Gladys Loraine Cross, 82, of Corpus Christi, went to be with our Heavenly Father and the love of her life, A.B., on July 12, 1999 after a recent illness. She was born in Cumby, Texas on September 11, 1916, to Lorenzo Dow Nix and Lillie Virginia Nix. After moving to Kingsville, where her family owned and operated a farm, they moved to Boerne for five years, then returned to their farm in Kingsville. Gladys married the "sweetheart of her life" in 1935 and they spent 60 wonderful years together. They moved to Corpus Christi in 1938 where Gladys spent time working for Southern Alkali and Sears Roebuck and Co. She also spent many years conducting demonstration work in local grocery stores. Most of all, she was the best mom in the world.
Gladys knew no strangers. Her outgoing personality, the twinkle in her sparkling brown eyes, and mischievous grin attracted everyone. She was loved by all who knew her. She was a member of the Annaville Baptist Church. She loved nature and God's many creations, particularly rocks and minerals, thus she was also a member of the Gulf Coast Gem & Mineral Society.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur B. Cross, her parents, one sister, and one brother.
Gladys is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Ann and Robert LeRoy Miller of Corpus Christi; a son and daughter-in-law, Brad Lee and Karen Ann Cross of Austin; five grandchildren: Ben and Matthew Cross of Austin, Michelle (James) Hall of Grapevine, Melissa Miller of Austin, Mark (Carrie) Miller of Portland and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 1999 in the Sawyer-George Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
A celebration of her life will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday July 15, 1999 in the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Pat Bullock officiating and Reverend Mark Miller assisting.
Burial will follow in Seaside Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Harrell Nix, Sonny Clark, Bill Nix, Mark Miller, Ben Cross and James Hall.

EGGLESTON
Lillian Frances Eggleston, a member of Morgan Avenue Baptist Church, passed away July 12, 1999 in a local nursing home. She was 91 years old.
She is survived by her step-daughter, Doris Ann (Rev. Paul) Flanders of Burnet, Texas; and two step-grandchildren, Douglas Flanders of Tyler, Texas and Priscilla Mullenix of New Mexico.
Visitation was held Tuesday, July 13, 1999 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Seaside Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday July 14, 1999 in the Seaside Memorial Park with Rev. Paul Flanders officiating.
FORD
Emmit Henry Ford, age 88, passed away July 10, 1999. He was born on June 11, 1911 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He married Lillian Quinn on June 12, 1939.
Mr. Ford owned and operated the E.H. Ford Septic Tank CO. in Corpus Christ, Texas for over 50 years. He retired at the age of 75 and moved to Knoxville Tennessee until his illness. He liked Tennessee but he loved Texas. He taught us to work hard and respect our elders. He believed that to spare the rod would spoil the child (We learned this fast). He loved to fish and taught us to love it. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cam Ford; a son, Don Douglas Ford; and four brothers: Calvin, Jim, Clay and Otis Ford.
Surviving family include his wife, Lillian; his sons, Robert R. (Verna) Ford of Corpus Christi, Texas, Harvey Lee (Susan) Ford of Seguin, Texas; his daughter, Barbara S. (Edward) Chandler of Knoxville, Tennessee; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 15, 1999 at The Chapel of Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Harvey L. Ford, Robert R. Ford, Robert W. Ford, Kenneth R. Ford, Edward Chandler, and Michael Rogers.
GONZALEZ
DRISCOLL - Juanita S. Gonzalez, 73, passed away on Monday, July 12, 1999 at her residence after a long illness. She was born in San Diego, Texas and had lived in Driscoll most of her life. Mrs. Gonzalez was a member of Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church Prayer Group in Corpus Christi, and attended St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church in San Diego, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Anastacio P. Gonzalez; parents, Jesus and Lazara Salinas; sister, Maria Longoria; and brother, Alejandro Salinas.
She is survived by sons, Hipolito A. (Elva) Gonzalez of Driscoll, Texas and Arnold (Martha) Gonzalez of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughter, Sara G. Limon of Driscoll, Texas; four brothers, Severiano Salinas of Petronila, Texas, Servando Salinas of Alice, Texas, Reynaldo Salinas of Corpus Christi, Texas, Oscar Salinas of Driscoll, Texas; five grandchildren: Melissa Dean Villegas of Bishop, Texas, Daniel Ray Gonzalez, Seneca Gonzalez, Armando Gonzalez, Christina Gonzalez all of Driscoll, Texas.
Rosary was recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday July 13, 1999 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday July 13, 1999 at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church in San Diego, Texas with burial to follow in Pena Cemetery in La Rosita, Texas.
JARZOMBEK
Archie John Jarzombek, 73, of Cestohowa entered into rest on July 11, 1999 in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Jarzombek is a lifelong resident of the Falls City-Cestohowa area.
He is survived by his wife, Almarene Jarzombek of Falls City; one daughter, Shirley Ann Janssen and one sister, Leocadia Rakowitz; he also has two granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass will be Thursday, July 15, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. from the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Cestohowa, Texas.
Rosary will be Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. from the church.

Gricelda Elvira Jasso, 59, of Corpus Christi, passed away Monday, July 12, 1999.
Mrs. Jasso was a sewing machine operator for Levis; however she retired from Haggar Clothing Manufacturing. She was dearly loved by her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Alvaro Jasso of Corpus Christi; one daughter, Lirva J. Salazar of Corpus Christi; four sons: Rubin Rogelio Jasso, Alecio Jasso, Alvaro Jasso, Jr. and Noe Jasso all of Corpus Christi; four brothers: Agapito Hinojosa of San Antonio, Rolando Hinojosa, Ambrosio Hinojosa and Joel Hinojosa all of Ciudad Mier, Tamps., Mexico; one sister Romelia Hinojosa of Monterrey, N.L., Mexico; also six grandchildren.
A rosary was recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday July 13, 1999 at Memorial Funeral Home Crosstown Chapel.
Procession will depart at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday July 14, 1999 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Interment will be at Panteon Municipal, Ciudad Mier, Mexico on July 15, 1999.

Eric Celeri Madrid, 26, of Corpus Christi, passed away July 9, 1999.
A Funeral Procession will depart Trevino Funeral Home on Wednesday July 14, 1999 at 12:00 p.m. for a 12:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
