Enemencio N. Alvarado
   RIVIERA - Enemencio N. Alvarado, a retired truck driver, died Aug. 12, 1999. He was 69.
   Survivors include his wife, Maria; three sons, Guadalupe Alvarado of Kingsville and Maximino Alvarado and Cirilo Perez, both of Riviera; two daughters, Enedelia Alvarado and Maria Hagan, both of Houston; two brothers, Apolonio and Benito Alvarado, both of Fort Stockton; six sisters, Manuela Saldana, Narcisa Gonzalez, Francisca Alvarado, all of Kingsville, Maria Saenz of Bakersfield, Calif., Eusebia Salas of Meza, Ariz., and Evacilisa Lunderville of Concord, N.H.; a half-sister, Andrea Perez of Brownsville; a half-brother, Carmen Alvarado of Houston; and 10 grandchildren.
   Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Aug. 13 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home, Kingsville. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Aug. 14 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will be in Riviera Cemetery.
   Fieore Carlucci
   Fiore "Al" Carlucci, an Army veteran, died Aug. 9, 1999. He was 45.
   Survivors include two daughters, Michelle and Tiffany Carlucci, both of Corpus Christi; a son, Troy Carlucci of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Mary Wilson of Leakey and Cynthia Weilbacher of Corpus Christi; three brothers, Joe Carlucci of Concan, Michael Carlucci of Victoria and Greg Carlucci of Corpus Christi; and two grandchildren.
   Burial will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 13 in Seaside Memorial Park.

   Emma P. Garza
   RIOS - Emma P. Garza, a homemaker, died Aug. 12, 1999. She was 75.
   Survivors include a son, Jose Garza of Falfurrias; three daughters, Mary Lou Garcia of Falfurrias, Adelina Garcia Jr. of Rios and Marta Garcia of Kingsville; three brothers, Jose Pena of Benavides and Avilio and David Pena, both of Concepcion; three sisters, Lilia Garcia of Concepcion and Estefana Garcia and Maria Garcia, both of Alice; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
   Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Aug. 13 at Garza Funeral Home, San Diego. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Aug. 14 at St. Francis de Assisi Catholic Church. Burial will be in Garza Cemetery.
   Evarista R. Garza
   WOODSBORO - Evarista R. Garza, a homemaker and a member of St. Therese's Catholic Church, died Aug. 11, 1999. She was 89.
   Survivors include three sons, Pedro Garza Jr. of Aurora, Colo., Enrique Garza of Woodridge, Va., and David Garza of Woodsboro; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
   Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 13 at Moore Funeral Home, Refugio. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Aug. 14 at St. Therese's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Refugio.
   Georgia E. Gold
   SINTON - Georgia Elizabeth Gold, a retired teacher, 1958-59 Sinton Outstanding Teacher of the Year, 1966 Sinton Woman of the Year and a member of Sinton Church of Christ, died Aug. 11, 1999. She was 87.
   Survivors include a son, Homer Gold Jr. of Canton, Ga.; a brother, Mack McGlothlin of Sinton; a sister, Mary Hill of Henderson; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
   Services will be at 3 p.m. Aug. 14 at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sinton Cemetery.
   Julia A. Higgins
   ROCKPORT - Julia Ann Higgins died Aug. 11, 1999. She was 67.
   Survivors include four sons, Michael Higgins of Effie, La., Edward Higgins of Rockport and Walter and Kenneth Higgins, both of Arizona; three daughters, Gaylene Jones of Oak Hills, Calif., and Margaret Castellanos and Dorothy Higgins, both of Chicago; three brothers, Gary Sedivy of South Dakota, and Elmer and John Sedivy, both of Nebraska; and five grandchildren.
   Services are pending.

   Demencio Rosas Sr.
   SPRINGFIELD COMMUNITY - Demencio Rosas Sr., a retired rancher, died Aug. 10, 1999. He was 86.
   Survivors include eight sons, Gustavo Rosas of Rio Hondo, Alberto Rosas of Michigan, Noe Rosas of Corpus Christi, David and Emede Rosas, both of Dallas, Ricardo and Demencio Rosas Jr., both of Alice and Oscar Rosas of Springfield Community; eight daughters, Connie Bazan of Michigan, Zoila Cabello of Corpus Christ, Estella Ruiz and Enedelia Morin, both of Dallas and Esperanza Willanueva, Delfina Flores and Sylvia and Consuelo Rosas, all of Alice; 32 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
   Services will be at 10 a.m. Aug. 13 at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home, Alice. Burial will be in San Diego Cemetery, San Diego.
   Genaro S. Martinez
   Genaro S. Martinez died Aug. 10, 1999. He was 74.
   Survivors include four sons, Juan Martinez of Corpus Christi, David Martinez of Royce City, Rudy Martinez of Dallas and Genaro Martinez Jr. of Portland; three daughters, Irene Sifuentes of Mesquite, Maria Castillo of Corpus Christi and Jesusita Garcia of Portland; a sister, Elena Moreno of Corpus Christi; 18 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
   Services were held Aug. 11 at New Funeral Options. Burial is in Robstown Cemetery Association Cemetery, Robstown.
   Velma H. Shaw
   REFUGIO - Velma Hazel Shaw, a retired custodian and a member of Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church, died Aug. 10, 1999. She was 88.
   Survivors include 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
   Services will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 14 at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church. Burial will be in Community Cemetery.

   F. Don Smith
   ROBSTOWN - F. Don Smith, a construction coordinator for Koch Refining Co. and a Baptist, died Aug. 12, 1999. He was 64.
   Survivors include his wife, Joyce; two sons, Donald Smith of Corpus Christi and Lonnie Smith of Mathis; five sisters, Izora Quinn of Palacios, Oleta Marley of Bon Carbo, Colo., Billie Mathis of Dallas, Nita Davenport of Portland and Hope Meadows of Houston; a brother, James Smith of Kingsland; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
   Services will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 14 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home, Corpus Christi. Burial will be in Robstown Memorial Park.
   Daniel H. Wagner
   ALICE - Daniel H. Wagner, a retired employee of Central Power and Light Co., and a member of First United Methodist Church, died Aug. 11, 1999. He was 92.
   Survivors include his wife, Olga; and one sister.
   Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Aug. 13 at Holmgreen Mortuary.
   John E. Zubek
   ALICE - John Edward Zubek died Aug. 5, 1999. He was 48.
   Survivors include a sister, Marsha Moore of Northridge, Calif.; and four brothers, Joe Zubek of Ridgecrest, Calif., Tim Zubek of Rathdum, Idaho and Dennis and Paul Zubek, both of Woodland, Calif.
   Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 13 at West Main Baptist Church.
